Lol. NBA backloads games so our schedule is packed and then they do this when we rest a guy or two. Meanwhile Al Horford is sipping on Piña Coladas in Mexico for the remainder of the season and KD is playing 1 in every 15 games in Brooklyn.

8 games in 11 days. The NBA set up this ed up schedule and when the Spurs want some players to rest, they get fined for it. That's ed.
How did they violate the testing policy? They gave plenty of notice on the injury report early in the day... And it’s not like this caused low viewership.... Spurs only had ONE nationally televised game ALL year! And that was because it was changed from another game.
Rest players to get a 20+ point win....
Tor also was fined a few days ago for resting players.
NBA got it backwards.
They should fine the Spurs $25k for tanking every time Patty, Rudy and Demar get the most minutes.
"I know it was a back to back"
So was ours, after a day of travel.
Makes sense. Resting DeRozan and Mills at the same time is bad for the compe ive balance of the NBA.
WTF!? Lmao everyone is resting guys this year
In a year when ratings are in the toilet the league decides to punish the Spurs for adding some excitement for their fans....makes sense....
Was it because he did not inform the NBA in a timely manner?
People still think them lottery balls will swing in favor of the Spurs?
This could be the league's " you" message to Pop for speaking out against NBA owners.
I imagine that is probably the case tbh, stupid contending teams should be punished not the spurs lol
$25k is chump change for fines in the NBA.
Hmm, I wonder what changed between March 21 and now?
Fining an NBA team $25k is about the equivalent of fining a jaywalker a nickel.
Some pissed off gamblers that were counting on Pop n Patty, DD etc to lead to another L?
These go hand-in-hand, and yes, I absolutely believe the ping pong balls will/would swing in the Spurs' favor come lottery time (though depending on Pop's stupid antics, we might just get too low a lottery pick for the outcome to be realistically affected; we ain't winning the lottery if we only have like a 2% chance of moving up). This is straight up posturing by the league, meaningless to the Spurs' bottomline. I absolutely believe (without an ounce of evidence, mind you) that there's more to this story behind the scenes. We shall see...
Spurs have 10 games in 14 days or so, and are fined for resting players ? Dafuq
When was NBA and then betting public informed is the 64K question.
Someone pointed out that Al Horford is in Jamaica on perma rest, and why isn’t that a finable offense.
I wonder if the suns Owner Robert Sarver reported the spurs or something lol idk if y’all remember but a couple years back Pop rested the starters vs the suns and the suns owner announced during the game that fans were going to get refunded because that wasnt the game they paid to see lmao
Fans should be able to fine the Spurs every time Patty runs up the court and fires up a rushed three pointer 6 seconds into the shot clock. Patty “tunnel vision” Mills.
