Mine's pretty much same top-to-bottom, but I might switch out Jokic for SGA or Doncic.
I still come across articles for Chet over Wemby for ROTY and they all come from predominantly white parts of the country.
Didn't see a thread so made one tbh. Who ya got?
(who you would vote for, not who you think will win tbh)
My picks:
- MVP: Joker
- DPOY: Wemby
- MIP: Maxey
- COTY: Thibbs
- 6MOTY: Naz Reid
- ROTY: Wemby (should be unanimous, will be pissed AF when it isn't )
First Team All NBA: Luka/SGA/Tatum/Giannis/Joker
Second Team All NBA: Brunson/Ant/Nephew/KD/AD
Third Team: Bron/JaylenBrown/Curry/Haliburton/Wemby

You just know some old POS that voted for Van Horn 30 years ago is still around and just waiting to vote for Chet again
MVP - Joker
DPOY - Wemby
MIP - Maxey (Jalen Williams close here)
COTY - Daigneault

All NBA Third team - Curry/Booker/Davis/Bron/Wemby
All Defensive First team - Wemby/Gobert/Adebayo/Herb Jones/Alex Caruso

Solid. I just can't have Haliburton over AD on the 2nd team as much as I hate the Fakers tbh.
MVP- Luka

1st: White, Herb, Wemby, AD, Gobert
2nd: Caruso, Brown, McDaniels, Chet, Bam
Some thoughts:
MVP and ROTY aren't even close for me.
I'd honestly give Anunoby the DPOY if he played enough games, he's been absolutely ridiculous since the trade. Knicks have 20-3 record when he played. The best wing defense since Kawhi.
I think Wemby is already the best defender in the league and while record isn't everything, Spurs have been way too bad to get him the award. Maybe I'd think about it if we had around 30 wins.
Maxey for MIP because that award shouldn't go to a second year player. They're expected to improve.
Mosley finally got Orlando to the playoffs with somewhat of a dysfunctional roster and no actual star on the team.
First team is a lock, no questions asked.
Other two are too close to call. Some will say I'm being ridiculous for including DDR and that getting to the play-in isn't much of a feat, but that team is garbage and he dragged them there.
All defense is also self-explanatory, with already mentioned OG and Isaac not qualifying.
really wanted to get jonathan isaac onto an all defensive team but he doesnt meet the games played criteria
Here's my ballot -
MVP - Nikola Jokic
DPOY - Rudy Gobert
MIP - Tyrese Maxey
COTY - Mark Daigneault
6MOTY - Naz Reid
ROTY - Victor Wembanyama
All-NBA -
1st: Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kawhi Leonard, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jokic
2nd: Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Paul George, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Davis
3rd: Tyrese Haliburton, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis
All-Defense
1st: SGA, Alex Caruso, Kawhi, Wemby, Gobert
2nd: Jalen Suggs, Derrick White, Franz Wagner, Aaron Gordon, Bam Adebayo
I would have loved to say Wemby is the clear cut DPOY, but Gobert was the best defender in the best defensive team in the league and it is difficult not to give him the DPOY. Even Wemby said that.
Maxey is a no-brainer for MIP.. so many 50 point games and willing the 76ers to the playoffs without Embiid. Dude deserves that award.
I will pick Daigneault over Mosley. The West is way more compe ive than the East and while SGA is a close second to Jokic for the MVP and that helped the Thunder... they are a very young team that finished on top. Thats amazing and a great credit to fantastic coaching.
Reid and Wemby for 6MOY and ROY are no-brainers. Monk could have beaten Reid to the award, but he got injured and missed a few games. While Reid helped the Wolves to get to No. 3 in the absence of Towns. A clear cut 6MOY.
I have taken Nephew in 1st NBA. He played 68 games (just above the limit) and was his team's MVP with George a close No 2.. Both of them were awesome on both offense and defense and thats why they are in the 1st and the 2nd team NBA for me. Luka, SGA, Giannis and Jokic are no-brainers in 1st NBA.
In 2nd team, I am taking Tatum and George over LeBron and KD (who are in my 3rd NBA). I value AD more than LeBron for the Lakers. And I will go for Haliburton over Booker, who will be unlucky to miss out along with Lillard.
In All-Defense, I am squeezing Wemby with Gobert in the front court...a bit awkwardly.. but along with SGA, Caruso and Kawhi.. this would be a devastating Defensive team. Suggs and Wagner were brilliant for Magic.. but sadly the best defender on the Magic - Jonathan Isaac but unfortunately he didnt play enough to get a spot. Aaron Gordon is very under-rated and he makes life easier for Jokic on defense while Adebayo is not far away from Gobert and Wemby as being among the best defenders among the big men. And he is probably the best big man who can defend on the perimeter as well.
MVP: Luka Doncic
DPOY: Victor Wembanyama
MIP: Tyrese Maxey
6MOY: Naz Reid
COY: Mark Daigneault
ROY: Victor Wembanyama
JJ Re is doing a great job in his second career as an analyst, and he gives a good breakdown of his picks here:
Spoiler alert, he voted Wemby as #1 ROY, #2 DPOY, and said he just barely missed the cut for All-NBA behind Anthony Davis.
JJ doesn't even have AD on an All Defense team (not even 2nd team) which is nuts tbh
It's interesting to hear someone who actually votes break it down. It has to be tough since you want to recognize like 100 great players but are ultimately left with like 30 spots.
His list was a little all over the place but it sounds like he actually put good thought into it.
Also gave some shoutouts to former Spurs Derrick White and Kyle Anderson on their defensive contributions.
There's just no way I'm putting KCP above AD on all defense especially now that they've gone position-less. The Lakers entire defense is held up by Davis tbh.
MVP: Jokic
DPOY: Gobert
MIP: Maxey
COTY: Mosley
6MOTY: Reid
ROTY: Wembanyama
All-NBA 1st team: Jokic, Gilgeous-Alexander, Doncic, Antetokounmpo, Tatum
All-NBA 2nd team: Davis, Brunson, James, Edwards, Durant
All-NBA 3rd team: S bag, Sabonis, Haliburton, Curry, Booker
All-Defense 1st team: Gobert, Wembanyama, Davis, Adebayo, Jones
All-Defense 2nd team: Suggs, White, Caruso, McDaniels, Gordon
All-Rookie 1st team: Wembanyama, Holmgren, Miller, Podziemski, Jaquez Jr.
All-Rookie 2nd team: Lively II, Wallace, (Amen) Thompson, Whitmore, Jackson-Davis
this guy has been tracking journalists who have already gone ahead and made their picks public

I really don't get why media have votes. Players and coaches I get. Also lol at Perk for having a vote
A lot of the players are dumb AF tbh.
It should just be the "Thinking Basketball" youtube guy who does the awards tbh
he also said gobert would be his dpoy
