Spurs gonna beat Memphis with no jjj
So Spurs would need either Grizzlies to go 0-3 in their last 3 games or Blazers go 2-2 or worse in their last 4 games for Spurs to make play-in.
**All based on Spurs winning out and have win% of .465
Spurs gonna beat Memphis with no jjj
Nicely done.
Keep the updates coming.
Normally I wouldn't dive too much into the numbers but since not all teams are going to finish with the same number of games, you have to look at the various Win% scenarios.
Kings lost - all but eliminating them.

the play in game(s) sound exciting tbh. will be real competïtive.
portland has to be getting in...
Its over for the Spurs. I hope the Suns get in. What are their chances?
Can’t really decide what I want top 10 pick or make the playoffs
So Spurs would need either Grizzlies to go 0-3 in their last 3 games or Blazers go 2-2 or worse in their last 4 games for Spurs to make play-in.
Grizzlies have Raptors, Celtics, and Bucks.
Blazers have Clippers, 76ers, Mavericks, and Nets.
Kawhitter is going to tank that game to spite the Spurs
I would say he will tank the game not just to spite the spurs but to over the Lakers. Blazers are the hardest team the Lakers could face in the first round.
Sigh... how the did we lose to the Sixers up by 4... and then how the did we give up a 3, up 2...
It's fundamental game management you learn when you are 5 years old.
Tbh it'd be worth missing out on the playoffs just to see the Lakers possibly bounced in the 1st round.
I agree that’s why I won’t be upset if the blazers get the 8th seed. They have upset potential.
I think it's a win-win whether we make it or not.
- no risk of injuries, we have no chance with LMA and Lyles
- chance for a #1 pick

With the East playoff picture being already set, those teams might start sitting some of their players against Memphis.
Every team except Portland needs to go 3-0 while Memphis loose every game to catch the grizz.
Imo it's over with the grizz, still Portland but they are playing well.
Spurs will miss the PO.
Basically need to win out, and hope Portland goes 2-2. That’s the only path I see. Portland isn’t going 1-3, and Memphis isn’t going 0-3.
This morning's Portland game with the Clippers may be the last hope for the Spurs. If Portland wins, the path is almost impossible.

Clippers star Kawhi Leonard (injury management, left knee soreness) will NOT play today vs. Portland. Decision was just made. This is the same approach to back-to-backs the Clippers have taken all season with Kawhi. Clippers play Sunday, as well.

And Kawhi being out, plus all the other weird rest that will be going on down the stretch is why the Sixers loss hurt so badly (to the people saying “they were playing with house money”). Had the Spurs won that game - which came down to a poor defensive assignment, there would have been much more pressure on Portland and Memphis. Now it’s going to take a lot falling the right way.
It was always going to come down to what team played the most opponents who rested players since home court isn't a factor for the restart.
Or simply what team played the most games (since winning % controls).
