I think White, Walker, Keldon, Luka, and Poodle will be one of the best benches in the NBA next year.
You gotta realize Samanac is a twenty year-old living in a foreign country. Have patience.

Just like that one dude in this thread who gets all pissy whenever keldons game is being doubted. Like dude its just basketball, if hes right about him being a game changing player, then good for him. If not dont worry we wont rub it in your face, we wont get anything if we are right or wrong anyways
Goodluck if your only achievement in life is being correct on an internet forum
maybe in 2023
Does anyone know Metu's injury diagnosis or when he'll return?
Spurs of Austin play tonight at 7

Luka not in the SL tonight and hasn't played either, hmmmm....
Load Management
Lonnie bout to make this Austin team legit.
My only other guess - was he with the Spurs vs Raptors?
whoever questioned Keldon's athletic ability was wrong
Keldon cannot hit the three. Without it he will rarely see an NBA floor.
He can hit the 3 ball, he’s not a great shooter but he’s solid
Glad to see Metu healthy. I like him physical but he needs to also hit them 3’s and maybe give Lyles some compe ion.
Nice to see Metu looking springy. Looks like the injury wasn't too severe. Thanks for the content as always.
18-11-5-6 blocks and two threes in 25 minutes for Metu. The minutes he’s played this season in the NBA granted it was garbage time he’s played well.
Metu needs to get some PT on the big squad. He has played well in his limited time in SA and has played really well in Austin. He also is not going against star caliber at his position. He is probably more mobile then gay and as mobile as Lyles. I also think his defense is better then both. He is probably less mature (chase balls for blocks when better to stay grounded) but his skill makes up for this. Let him have some time and see what he can do.
These guys can play at the G-league level but all of them are failing at one of the most important pro skills that being the three point shot. I would rather see them focusing on the three going forward cause that is what matters most in today's NBA.
I wonder how much are our big men learning from Timmy, and how much time do they spend training with him. Jakob has gotten noticeably better at shot blocking and defensive positioning in general, biting much less on fakes and staying on his feet. Metu could use some lessons, and definitely some time with the main squad. I hope next season is the one where all our projects are finally recalled for good (except for Luka maybe if he looks a year away still), and Keldon, Metu, and Spoon get consistent bench minutes to show their worth.
As awesome as Keldon and Metu were, Quinndary had himself a solid game too. 16 pts on 13 shots with 6 boards, 4 assists and no turnovers. Played solid defense, too. Hopefully, he can start putting together some more consistent performances going forward. Keldon could use the help.
damn Metu is starting to look really good. What's your take on him Drew? I always thought he had a very complete game, it's just about it translating to the NBA, but I think he's getting there. He's looked a lot better in garbage time minutes, I'd really like to see him more on the big team.
that's exactly what I'm thinking too. Lyles only scores 5 points per game and is only shooting 33% from 3 and his shooting percentages at the rim and from 3-10 feet are below average. Metu is a better defender, shot blocker, faster and more athletic and I think he can average better than 59% shooting from 0-3 feet just by having hops alone. Besides that he also has a pretty lethal midrange jumper
I agree, but at least they're attempting them that's a plus. Luka 4.6, Spoon 3.6, Keldon 2.9, and Metu 1.5. I think they will be fine I can't speak on Luka but I know Keldon and Spoon in college were solid at the three point shot, Spoon even shot 39% twice. I'm really happy with Metu. He shot 3 threes in his first two years of college and went 12/40 in his 3rd year. His stroke is looking pretty good right now.
