    So ...

-TP injured and not playing at 100% since February.

-Manu has two bad hamstrings and might or might not be back at some point in the first round. He hasn't been the same since he started having hamstring trouble -- so expecting anything from him at this point is iffy.

-Diaw out for the first round at best.

-Bonner and Blair healthy as horses.

    -Duncan is turning 37.

    -No Jack.

    -Leonard is gimpy.

    -Backup PG still unsettled.

    -Neal not 100%.

-Splitter appears to have run out of gas.

-De Colo is either too wild or too passive.

-Mills can't hit a meaningful shot.

-Joseph has hit some sort of sop re wall.

-Green needs players playing well around him to do well.

-Baynes hasn't been added to the fold.

-I'm not 100% convinced Duncan is the same since before The Scare.

    *slowly shakes head*

    ............................................... damn.
it's not supposed to end like this.............it can't end like this...............

Did you see what Stephen Jackson himself just said?
No. What did he say? Who interviewed him?

ksat's facebook posted the news, and in the comments, someone wrote "Pop asked, Jackson if, he thought if, he was better than Manu & Danny Green? He said, " yeah" Pop told him, "that's your problem, you don't know your role". Then they got into a heated argument." that person was asked how they knew this, and she wrote that her son was at the barbershop, and overheard Jackson say that. ...........take it for what it's worth
Yeah, like that story actually ing happened.
Stop acting like that story is somehow credible.
Jackson and Facebook tin all over DesignatedT

Like I said in the other thread, what allowed Jackson to have an NBA career was his fiery confidence in himself. You take that away from him and he's still in Port Arthur. Come playoff time, you want players on your team who think they are the best player on the court.

Ah well. Leonard being able to play 40+ minutes will make this less of an issue. But still shocking as , IMO.

Even if Jack really believes he's better than Manu/Danny, that kind of crap doesn't fly in the Spurs organization. So if they were threatening to cut him the past few days, and he was still challenging them about playing time and he wouldn't relent about being better than them, then Pop was right to cut him. I love Jack, but damn -- that's not the way you behave. Especially in this organization.

Harder and harder to side at all with Jack when you see he said that. That's not cool at all. Still hoped cooler heads would prevail though.

Lol at Pop thinking that Green is so great, cutting SJax and James Anderson. RE ED.

I'll be the first to admit I was strongly defending him, but the hate against him had to do more with his skillset than his at ude. So he proved both sides wrong.

What in the world did he have a "meltdown" over. It couldn't have been about his contract extension could it? I mean he hasn't brought it up all year, why would he now?
The timing was right. That article about the most overpaid NBA players came out in the last few days. He was on the list. He didn't seem happy about it.

Jack has always been his own worst enemy.

Jack is a proud and confident guy... he'll say he's better than KD... but you don't butcher him like that unless he's being a pest about his minutes... especially when we're shorthanded...

    IMO anyways

Oh well. This sucks but I didn't expect a le the year after Manu and Tony went out. Manu won't be close to game ready in the second round. No Diaw is bull and Neal still has no idea what a pass is.

    GG Spurs.

Here's the big question about this decision. Is Pop really going to ing play Kawhi 40+ minutes a game? Or are we going to continue to see 25-35 minutes a game? I'm tired of Pop babying guys, especially a young guy like Kawhi. Let him loose out there already...

I'm sure Pop will increase his minutes in the playoffs. He has no other option since the other possible SF options are out right now (Diaw, Manu).
