His minimum was 1.7 mil and Milwaukee signed him into part of their MLE for 2.3 mil. If your career will likely be a series of minimum contracts, would you be taking discounts?

Didn't he sign elsewhere for more than the minimum? Why would he take less to stay?
Because we barely have minutes for Vassell, who also can shoot 3’s and play excellent defense
    There you go..

This is the kind of casual opinion I'd expect to see on fb or reddit.

Not even worth a proper reply.

OP is getting attacked with the full force of Cancel Culture.

    Maybe with good reason...

You wanting to him to stay ruined a good question. Why did pop invest so heavily on Bryn Forbes and impede other teammates progress, only to let him go for cheap.

the spurs do share a connection with the bucks, think that may have something to do with it.

7/14 on threes in a close-out game on the road... after putting in 22 points in game 2 on 6/9 shooting from three.

I repeat. Any Popsuckers gonna do any damage control on this one?

The problem was never Forbes it was a senile HOF coach not using him or rest of team properly. Limited player not a starter but can be effective in a role situation. Glad he got a shot with a real team these days.

It was always known he's a great 3 shooter. But there was one guy that thought he was something more; unfortunately that one guy was the head coach of the Spurs.

Lol at people blaming Pop the coach, it's Pop the POBO you should blame because we don't have a guy that his gravity would allow players like Forbes to thrive. The moment Kawhi left we should've tanked straight away, that was the only mistake Pop did but it was big.

I thought he was fine as a bench scorer. Pop kept filling his head that he was a starter. I don’t think it would have worked with a demoted role from his last year here.

He benefits off the bucks because they have defenders that can hide him on that side of the ball. He went from playing with patty, Marco, demar, rudy to jrue, khris and giannis. Haha

It’s only cancel culture if it’s from the Cancell region of France, otherwise it’s just sparkling consequences.

You’re an idiot if you think Forbes on this years team was gonna make a difference. Pop would have been playing him in the wrong role like usual.

Hmmm, bucks top 3 player are Giannis, Middleton and Holiday. Spurs top are Derozan, white and Murray..... hmmm let’s see which teams supporting players are going to have better numbers due to the stars they play with. There was a no win situation if he stayed here, similar to what pop did with mills all year. Just shows the total lack of talent on the Spurs compared to a top team in the league.

Because he’s a defensive liability taking away minutes from the younglings, literally has no other skills except for 3pt shooting and is useless if his shots aren’t falling?

Let's be clear, if you got Yanis as your team mate, a high percentage shooter like Forbes is going to thrive despite his deficit on defense.

    Spurs don't have a Yanis.
