I wonder how spurs talk will look after we don't get tall Tony Parker and its 3 years from now and this team is still trash.

Cause this team isn't tanking...it's trash. They couldn't compete with even an average nba team if they tried

Mbappe was shown on the BK stream, credit to him for watching this game to the end. The BK announcers started saying the dumbest ish about how surprised he would be at seeing so many goals made in the NBA. He’s a pro footballer, not an idiot. Jeez.

Sochan's got some intriguing over/unders on PointsBet.

    11.5 pts, 2.5 assists & 4 rbs.

Worth taking the over on all 3 considering his recent play.

    and maybe not

Especially with MBappé who is a real NBA fan, just like Thierry Henry.

I have an old friend that not only believed the Earth was flat, but that it was also hollow.
My wife is a geophysicist. A volcanologist.
She was like, What is this ery?

Their debates were so hilarious in how she would demolish him and he wouldn't back down from his stupidity.

Yeah. He got banned for a few years from the house.
He's cool now, although he's treated as a joke.
All right- I've got to ask how could it be both flat and hollow.
I suspect this was brought up.

    Lol. He said "Caves, yo!".
He's always spouting something completely insane and believing it.
You could tell him something just off-the-wall bonkers and he'd immediately believe it.

Hey JP! There's a one eyed, one horned flying purple people eater regulating the border!
Oh really? I'm going to drive down there and hunt it! I'll be back, E!

Then I won't hear from him for 3 weeks until I get a phone call.
I know I saw him. I think I got a pic. Couldn't catch him though... sorry man.

I saw that segment on MSNBC from these "Good liars" guys who interview random Joes thoughout the USA and some still believe Trump is in power or those cat litters in high schools for students identifying as cats was true info...

then some guy says murders by hammer is then number one cause of death in America and that gun violence stuf is fake news, before the journalist pulls his smartphone, shows stats saying it's bascially a couple hundreds by hammer compared to the tens of thousands by guns, then asks the guy if he's gonna stop saying all around (as he was proudly claiming) hammers were then number cause...

    "No!"...

Worst is journalists explained those guys were'nt the majority but not a little minority either, a decent chunk of them actually.

We're living in a post-fact era where people just believe what they want ot believe indenpendtly of facts.

Not gonna lie...after being on Twitter last night following Damar Hamlin's injury, I lost what little hope for America's future I still had. I was utterly dumbfounded at how many people either proffered or defended the idea that his cardiac arrest was the direct result of a COVID vaccination, even in the face of a mul ude of doctors that practically stated it had all the hallmarks of commotio cordis. Then you watch these nutjobs showing video "proof" of these athletes falling over "dead" (and who weren't) and a vast majority happened before COVID even hit or whom had other diagnosed injuries or situations that accounted for all the rest. Thise videos are just straight up falsehoods and lies but the gullible among us just lap that up.

100% this country is ed and undoubtedly headed towards civil strife or worse. As you say, we are now through the looking glass on statements having any sort of factual underpinning. No society can exist when there's not a universal starting point with real vs BS.

The problem was the internet, like television before it, was supposed to be for “education”. In America…yeah, right. I’m starting to feel old. Bring back the analog age!

Like the old radio shows when people panicked thinking The War of the Worlds was a real invasion via Orson Wells?

    We'll always be dumb.
