He's got a of a ceiling. A top 5 pick type ceiling. But.......... his floor is low.

Fathead bout to lose his starting spot to Brandon Clarke. Memphis thought if we play a forward who can't shoot we should at least play an athletic one. SAGirl is probably going crazy on the Grizzlies board right now

Confirms Patfo was targeting Markannen in the last draft? Does Samanic spell out OBSOESCENCE in the next three years? Closest to the feel of drafting a Durant Pop is gonna get? Or did Patfo just tell their scouts to find them another white euro named Luka?
Big question will he cone over this year or will we wait? I don't hate the pick just a lot of talent on the board but I guess we trust?!?!

Spurs draft board was always Goga and Luka for the first round. Goga being taken at 18 scared them so they jumped the gun too early on that Euro scrub.

Frankly, the Spurs went with the upside pick. Samanic has excellent potential. Looks like they'll be able to draft a safer wing prospect at 29.
