Are they going to have EVERY season of the Simpsons on there?
If it only had Seasons 3-10, it's automatically the greatest streaming service ever.
Yes, FX had every season for years. Now Disney+ does. The reformatting of old episodes to 16:9 is infuriating to me though. Hopefully Disney brings them back in all their 4:3 glory.
That would be great. Hulu has great horror movies. I went to look for horror on disney+ they didnt even have a horror category lol. What is the cost of the Hulu Disney bundle going to be? I have commercial free hulu now already
I think it's 12.99 for the Hulu/d+/ESPN+ bundle. I have the full Hulu $50 package after cutting cable cord.
I'm not sure I'm saving any money but I like not having cable boxes any more
I looked it up and I think youre right about the $12.99 but thats for the Hulu with commercials...still commercial free cant be much more maybe $3-4 so no brainer
I hope the hulu deal is not just for new hulu customers
Just checked their episode release schedule and I LOL'd a bit. You have to wait a month and 2 weeks to watch 9 episodes.
They should release at least 2 episodes per week.
It's too late for Netflix to add that component to their services. That will only enraged their subscribers.
Just as an example, not too long ago they said they would run in-house ads in between episodes for their own shows only and they still got massive backlash for it.
They must've abandoned that idea.
I don't think ad-free is available in the bundle for some reason. I would be signed up already if it was.
Offering people an ad-based cheaper option probably wouldn't cause outrage and mass suicides as long as the commercials were minimal.. Giving them zero choice on the other hand would surely do it
Neh, it's not too late to add a lower price option with ads while still offering the full price ad free option
IIRC from reading HULU's own help page, even their premium premium sub has commercials on select shows either at the end of the episode or the very beginning but just once.
That still kinds of irks me. Not something I'd hold against them though.
Yeah I can see that.
They can get rid of their useless 7 a month for just one screen at a time and SD only in favor of making it HD and with ads for the same price.
Yeah, a couple first run shows did that like Agents of SHIELD at the beginning and end. The show itself wasn't interrupted. I would take a lower cost option with those commercials any day of the week.
Looks like FX/FXX programming is all going to Hulu. It would be nice if Legion like projects could still be made on FX or Hulu, but Feige's takeover of Marvel probably puts a nice vanilla sheen over everything to come out from now on. A Disney+ Moon Knight? Meh.

Plus those TCL tvs with Roku OS are a good deal
That's pretty much exactly what they should do.. who the watches in SD
