Probably more of an option now with the Ryan Anderson trade.
Especially if they have to renounce Landry to make the trade.
Yes to Carl Landry. I have had a man crush on him for a long time.
I am not a big fan of him on the Spurs (appreciate his niche that he has carved out though). He would be way better than Bonner, but he won't be a Bonner price.
Meh, I'm tired of undersized bigs with declining rebounding rates, tbh.
I really don't like Landry. He is undersized and a terrible defensive rebounder.
Landry's defensive rebounding percentage:
carreer %: 14%
lowest % for a season: 10.5%
compare that to Bonner's numbers:
carreer %: 15.7%
lowest % for a season: 13.1%
I wouldn't mind Landry. Assuming he starts with Duncan and Leonard, there is a fair amount of rebounding prowess on the court beside him that it shouldn't be a huge deal. And his offensive versatility compared to Bonner and Blair would make easier on that end because he could be paired with Duncan or Splitter.
Is he a legit 6'9"? Or is he 6'9" in the same way Blair is 6'7"?
Pretty sure its Blair measurements but I could be wrong
Blair is 6'6.5'' with shoes on.
Not a Center, which means he's not likely a player the Spurs are targeting.
I like him ! Not as undersized as people think.
I wonder if we could work in a S&T with NOLA to get him !
I forget if he has range or not. I'd be open to him if he can play with the energy level he had while in Houston.
Yes.
Unrestricted.
Better than Diaw and Bonner combined
Come on, now...
Landry has Diaw beat in the scoring and balls department, but given Boris can play more positions (and pretty ing seamlessly for a guy with breasts, I gotta say), read the court better, and play better defense, I'm willing to overlook his shortcomings since he doesn't have to be the first option anyway. He played solid for us from the day he got here, and I'm hoping we keep him because I expect more next season.

The Warriors are going after free agent PF Carl Landry. Talks are progressing, a source says, but it's going to ... http://sulia.com/c/golden-state-warr...source=twitter
Landry on the Spurs would be a beast. I don't think he had much motivation playing for the Kings and the Hornets.
Just like Diaw?
Only way to get him would be via trade...
Getting Landry would only make sense if we got rid of Blair.
