Hopefully Pop and the team don’t kill KJ’s fire.

Allright Dejounte, I'm on board. He's a star in the making.
And a competent coach. Hopefully next year tbh.
Donovan, you will see him more
Seriously I wasn't excited like this for Kawhi, even the big 3 were doubting Kawhi had it.
Keldon is WAY BETTER than Kawhi at this stage in their career. And with more polishing, he will be much better. And that's scary good
Get this man some help before his mom's brother makes him leave.
Slow down on Kawhi comps...... give it some time
He's a fine player. Imagine if we didn't waste the other pick.
In their 2nd year, Kawhi wasn't doing what Keldon has done in 6 games.. I know it's early, but I still say Keldon is better on their 2nd year. Keldon just knows he belong. Kawhi had to be pushed, convinced. TP didn't even want to give him the ball.
Keldon has more potential than Kawhi on offense but his physical attributes may prevent him from reaching Kawhi's level on defense since Kawhi is a freak in that regard.
I think the FO was fixated with the stretch 4 mobile big, scoring > defense like the rest of the team. Same thing with Beli/Bryn outscoring instead of playing defense experiment.
Vassell was picked because of his 3 and D ability.
I liked what I saw in his post-game remarks...he downplayed his own outstanding play due to the team not winning...
I like that he's not a diva and is team-oriented first...
Speaking of divas, we finally get to see Keldon vs Kawhi on Tuesday!!!
Nah, how he defended Zion, Siakam, Lebron/Davis, and his motor, his leadership and camaraderie.. Keldon has everything gong for him to eclipse Kawhi..
I think Keldon can outmuscle s bag. I just don't know if he's guarding PG or other bigs. That means Demar will be guarding the s bag.
Five games. I'm a Keldon stan but I play fair. Let's wait until he does it for a full season. Kawhi did it for at least two full seasons.
It would be nice if Spurs' meaningful win come against Kawhi. ST will explode
Whoa whoa whoa
KJ at this stage of their careers looks better on offense but to so nonchalantly say that he has more offensive potential than what Nephew has turned into? Neph is a 50-40-90 guy that averages in the high 20s. Has an absolutely unstoppable fade away (both off the dribble and in the post). Elite pull-up game. Unless KJ turns into Durant I'm not seeing how he eclipses Nephew on offense.
Yes, I realize Kawhi was/ is great on offense. I said KJ has a higher ceiling on that end since:
1) KJ is better than Kawhi offensively was at this point of their careers
2) I've said since the beginning (you can find it in his first summer league games) that KJ's style of offense is Hardenesque. Harden is more legendary than Kawhi is on offense. KJ's game consists of unstoppable drives (he's actually better than what he's displaying these six games) and 3's. He's going to have a full season mastering the drive and mastering his 3s, then he will unlock passing next year. I could see KJ averaging 30+ in his career.

I've been right so far about Keldon and am the pioneer of "Keldon will be a star" since the beginning. Y'all have to trust me on this
"Dejounte"
1 out of 2 is pretty good.
Their 2nd year stats:
Kawhi
11.9 pts, 6 rebs, 1.6 assist, 1.7 steals, .06 blocks
Keldon
15 pts, 7.6 rebs, 2.4 assist, 1.4 steals, .08 blocks
It's early, but I can see Keldon averaging in the 20's by the end of the season especially when he starts getting the calls.
The crazy thing is Keldon is not even playing up to his usual level right now. His drives have been awkward and the angles have been off. He has a softer touch than what he's currently showing and he's not attacking the usual angles that he does in last year's Gleague.
I think it's the jitters from being a first time starter.
I'd say he's at 70% of his usual Keldon right now. He's got another gear.

I wasn't nearly as high on DJ as I am with KJ. There were no other young guys on the Spurs team when I first signed up on this website. I sure as wasn't going to use Kyle Anderson. Using the Dejounte moniker was more of a "next generation Spur" type thing than anything.
