LOL, yeah a few leftover Hurricane Katrina refugees (their homeland was wasted, they were refugees), less than 10% of Houston's population, are big on Paul because he briefly played on their home town team.
Rockettes need to add more clutch players. Can't win against the SuperDubs when Ryan Anderson and PJ Tucker are your 3rd options (especially when your 2nd option is likely to be inured in the playoffs)
PS we will trade u Belinelli for a 2nd rounder

So stupid, you can accomplish about as much with a slightly less polished player. Capela's offense is pretty much dunking and rebounds. He's good on D but overall isn't a max player.
Then you better win it all because if not, that contract is gonna be a salary cap anchor. You can find someone who can do 60-70% of what Paul does at a much cheaper price and same for Capela. This nucleus is good enough to challenge the Warriors but no slam dunk to beat them. I'd try and sign and trade Capela for a 3-point marksman and just plug in a garbage work big man.
I repeat, this team can beat the Warriors but isn't better than them, so why the insistence on keeping the core together?
Your homeland was wasted too, got.
But we never had to evacuate. When we did evacuate, the storm didn't hit (Rita)
He could be a cancer but it's worth a shot. You can't beat the Warriors unless you've got a boatload of talent.

Melo isn't a boatload of talent. He's a cancer just like a lot of washed up "pretty good" players who were surrounded by greatness.
As long as he understands his role, he's worth a shot. The Warriors are stockpiling and the Rockets can't return the same team and expect to win it all.
I'm not sure if he's even better than Ryan Anderson, though
Plug him in as the 6th man and he's in.
...said Nuggets fans, Knicks fans and Thunder fans when their teams acquired him.
Do it Morey!
so they not keeping capela and ariza?
shouldnt they be getting rid of that anderson contract first?
they will obviously be weaker than last year. They should use their F positions for young athletic players that can shoot, even if not that talented. No use in going the cleveland way with stockpiling hasbeens

Damn. Not even the cancer wants to play with LeBron
cp3 thinks the rockets have unlimited money to go out sign his bff
at Houston replacing their defense with Melo's chucking. Good luck with that.
You just know CP0 is going to start criticizing the Rockets' front office and demanding a trade when his idea to replace Houston's defense with Melo doesn't work out for them. And the media will 100% blame Morey for this when it's obvious that CP0 wants to play with his buddy.
