fyi: pro wrestling is gay
After the tmtcsc Jabroni joke, I remembered this gem. You have to watch the entire thing for context because what The Rock says is pure ing gold at the end. The wait is worth it. You don't have to be a wrestling fan to respect the verbal smackdown.
Meh. But it's not like we can enjoy threads like this cause sooner or later some asshole is going to come in here and make it all about himself

I'm just talking about the off the cuff verbal assault, but I did love that era of wrestling.
Really hard to beat the 60's/70's because of all that talent and those territories. Must have been 100 big names roaming the country back then. A half dozen magazines.
Just here in Cali we had everything north of Bakersfield belonging to Ray Stevens, Pepper Gomez, Kenli Shibuya etc and Bakersfield and south belonged to Fred Blassie, Baron Leoni, The Destroyer, etc. There was Wild Bull Curry, Dangerous Danny McShane, Gory Guerrero in Texas. the Brusier, The Crusher, Verne Gagne in the midwest, down south Jackie Fargo, Sputnik Monroe. Back east Bruno Sammartino, "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers, The Kangaroos. Yep, the best of times..
Living out here in Cali I never saw these guys wrestle until youtube. I knew all about them because of the magazines.
Yep, there is where Ric Flair got his gimmick, right down to that figure four leglock. Kowalski right there with The Sheik and the Brusier as the top heel.

Here you are guy, not talking about the wrestling at all just wimpering around. I;m betting you know nothing about it, so why are you here?
I was totally thrilled to find this gem on youtube. This was as big as it could get back then. Hmmmmm....other than Sammartino vs Thesz
And one post later...
Who is the only one here talking the rasslin', yep.....me.
So many of you all wrapped up in other posters, why? This thread is about pro rasslin'.
Anyway.....
Here is The Rocks dad in action, Rocky Johnson, story goes he sparred with Cassius Clay, I think that might be true.
His grandpa.

God dammit Larry shut the up.
You can post these retro videos all day, but nobody gives a about it. Maybe other 70 year olds, but face it if you didn't live through this era of wrestling you're gonna think it ing sucks, which it did.
that didn't take very long. srsly, how hard is it to ban an IP address to keep low-IQ re s like Avante from spamming this place with garbage? This would quickly eliminate these mongoloids since they likely don't have the mental capacity to figure out a work around
Mason will set up his pops with a VPN so he don't have to deal with him and keep pawning him off on us.
I’ve been wondering that for 8 years tbh
I'm always into the history/origins of all my interests. I don't live thu those AAFC Cleveland Browns, those 1920 blues, Olympic Auditorioum rasslin' from 1959, I just know about the history of things.
I am as up on todays as anyone else, as I am on the 70's, 80's, 90's, etc etc. Is Seth Rollins really hurt? What to do with Randy Orton? The Jackson's the best tag team in the world. Okata the best New Japan has to offer?
Really looking forward to the AEW, hope I'm not disppointed.
