Senators are told they will be made to work SIX days a week for six weeks for Donald Trump's impeachment trial at height of Democratic primary season

You pretty much have to ignore the transcript, the context and DJT's own words to conclude there was no shakedown. DJT dangled US miltary aid and a meeting in exchange for a statement from Ukrainian leadership smearing the Dem frontrunner.

Your mom didn’t think so. Before she died ya know?
"GOP aide tells me one plan discussed is for Gym Jordan and others
to repeatedly use the whistleblower’s name as one of several strategies
to blow up the hearings and
make the media report on his iden y.
Be prepared for stunts."

Lawless GOP breaking Federal law to out the now-irrelevant whistleblower.
maybe they can relieve themselves of that burden with just one simple act;
tell Trump to....
STOP COMMITTING CRIMES!!!
NY Post mischaracterizes the procedure. The trial for removal, if there is one, will be in the US Senate. Impeachment is analogous to indictment by a grand jury.
Nunes is example extraordinaire of the descent, degradation of the Repugs and their cult base
the tweets totally, deservedly trash Nunes
Sounds like a man who'd sue a fake cow on Twitter.
What CA lacks in quan y of Reps, it triple downs on their tiness, McCarthy, Nunes, Issa
and the memorable:

btw, CA Repugs are moving to TX to enjoy the cheaper living in a Repug hole
You’re such a beta incel....it’s amazing that you’re still here.
until finally...
I did indeed read the link, I wanted to know what your position is. I will assume that your response here means you are going to attempt to stick to the thin lies given before the whistleblowers initial compliant.
We have the method of potential extortion established, now we need to get to the act, and the bribe requested for that extortion. The problem is that we now know it wasn't "US interests" that Trump was worried about, but Trumps own interests. The withholding of funds was the extortion part of Trumps abuse of his office, and the requests for investigation into the debunked Crowdstrike theory and the debunked Biden corruption story are the bribes he wanted in exchange, so that his campaign could have valuable talking points to damage a political rival.
We have established:
- Presidents should be impeached if they threaten countries for dirt on political opponents.
- Ukraine is vulnerable to threats, because they desperately need our aid, against Russia.
- Ukraine aid was being held up directly by Trump.
- Trump then asked for valuable, material help for his re-election campaign in the form of investigation into the debunked DNC/Crowdstrike conspiracy theory and Biden family.
Extortion and Bribery, which, by your own given admission should be impeachable.

People ding boutons a lot, but he doesn't run away from his posted material.
The conservatives here love to bash him, but so many like DMC and DarrinS run away the instant their posts are challenged and hide behind personal attacks.
Say what you want about boutons, but he is not as lazy as some of the board conservatives.
Nunes, Jordon, Goetz.
This is the kind of incompetent ass-clownery that is in charge of Trumps "defense". Trump himself is already undercutting some of their defense.
eat my , mother er
Surprised the president isn't rage-tweeting. Taylor's testimony is really bad for him.
Trash is buddying today with fellow autocrat Erdogan.
Erdogan is forcibly repatriating ISIS fighters to Western European countries as revenge for them punishing Erdogan.
This is such a clear cut case of bribery and extortion Trumpistas are going to talk about everything but the facts of the case.
Thank goodness real attorneys are out here doing extended questioning.
