We needed a bruiser like Morris. Good signing. With him and Demarre Carroll, we have 2 solid wing defenders to trot out with Murray and White.
And what Championship team would that be?

#4 is a fantastic point. Opens up a ton of flexibility. Shift demar and beli down to the 2, or for small ball you could almost run shifting Morris to the 5 and having gay at the 4 for mobility, surround with shooters like white mills beli and gun it.
Still feels like we need a backup center for some reason. I know we can shift Aldridge up to the 5 but I think pop may start Aldridge and poeltl which would leave no center to bring off unless pop weaves rotations early and often- which he does well, a kind of "waves" rotation, a sharks teeth concept of constant fresh bodies up and down the position string.
I also think you'll see with Morris and to a lesser extent Carroll, that classic uptick in performance and production we sometimes get from new guys.
My bro helping Morris extend his range
Literally your brother?
Been a while since we have this type of grittiness to our team. Prior to this was probably SJax.
If we were going to sign Morris for the MLE, why didn't we just sign him straight up? Why did we have to salary dump Bertans and sign-and-trade for Carroll?
Maybe they had already committed to Carroll before knowing Morris was a real possibility. If that's the case we're very lucky Carroll, his agent, the Nets and Wiz were so accommodating.
That's how it sounds, since they signed Carroll to a 2 yr deal at first.
The Wiz made out like bandits; they have coveted Bertans and got him for absolutely free. BKY just did SA a solid though but yeah, the fact it went from 2 years to 3 leads me to believe this was not the original plan; Morris was not in the picture until he was and SA had to give up Bertans to make it happen.
MM and Carroll give us the grit, grind and experience we lacked against Denver.
Hope we get a rematch in April.

Sir Ellis, good afternoon from the Philippine Islands
good Sir, would it be possible for you to make an extensive analysis of the SKILL LEVEL of these current Spurs, and the way they mix and match, some sort of inter-player skill level analysis vis-a-vis each other
considering that our roster this year is very deep, and there are very interesting skill sets in the table for the Spurs
just a request if you have time someday
