that’s what my buddy in Dallas claims. He’s fairly plugged in for this type of stuff. I don’t know anything about these guys but I hope he’s a solid coach and recruiter.
Depending on how things are going with CB Ennis Rakestraw, don't be surprised if we see mention of CB Edric Whitley of Pflugerville Weiss tonight or tomorrow morning.
Texas kicked the tires there a few weeks ago, but ultimately chose to focus elsewhere.

Is one of the sites saying this or do you think this is something that could occur? Seems like it'd be a hard last second pull if the kid has never visited/OV to us.
unless this kid is a late-bloomer like Ennis, seems like a pretty suspect last-second grab based on his college offers anyway (does have two legit P5 ones per 247, but pretty lame stuff beyond that).
Rakestraw sounds likely 'Bama bound, as apparently Saban has decided he wants him and we purportedly waited too long. Hard to be able to afford to do that considering the season we had.
Just throwing it out there as a possibility like what happened with LB Jaylan Ford.
To my knowledge, Ford didn't visit UT until after he signed so it's not completely unheard of.
It was before Ford.
What happened before flipping Ford?
Sorry, not sure what you mean.
Didn't PJ Locke do the same thing or did he come in on a late visit with strong?
Inside Texas saying they weren't sure it's UT related, and he simply got a better offer than UNLV.
Regardless, we should prepare ourselves for Rakestraw to Bama.
Per Anwar, Indiana co-defensive coordinator/defensive line coach Mark Hagen is a guy to keep an eye on to fill the final position on Texas football coach Tom Herman's staff, according to my sources.

Mizzou for Rakestraw.
2021 CB Omarion Cooper (Lehigh Acres, FL)

Whitley signed with Arizona.
WR Savion Williams (Marshall) commits/signs with TCU as projected.
Losing Princely to Baylor as it appears to be is not really that big of a deal, IMO. The real prize of this class are the (3) kids that we have signed or will sign on the DL anyways. I'm not real sure what everyone else is thinking about him, but that's what my eyes are telling me.
