I just don't want them to play scared. If they like a guy, they should be aggressive in moving up for him. There shouldn't be a single player / asset on the roster that should be untouchable.
If they feel good about all the choices they'll have at 19 then so be it. But if they settle because they didn't want to give up somebody like Bryn then that's a problem.
Either way, would open up minutes for Walker to be a rotation player next season.
I agree. I think there should be a balance to the family to business ratio they have and the rep they've have built. It's too far on the family side right now. All these loyalty contracts are hurting the team. We should be paying people to play who are actually good at what they do.. it's like having the old lady at the office and having to let her go for a younger woman that's faster and cheaper tbh. It hurts but it's a good business decision.
All in all, I hope for an aggressive play as well man. Only people off limits to me is DJ, White, and Walker imo cause you need more time to see what you have. We really need to nail a superstar to get back into contention. We may already have that but until it's for sure, we definitely need to be aggressive.

Every year there’s a guy or two drops. Last year they hit on getting that guy. Hopefully the same happens tonight.
“The Durant situation is still in flux,” Windhorst said. “One of the things being discussed right now is the Golden State Warriors would offer Kevin Durant a five-year contract, $57 million dollars extra than he could get from signing elsewhere, let him rehab, and then work with him to be traded, potentially to New York, potentially to somewhere else.”
looks like Golden State will get some role players back
This can be the no spoiler version, I will be working tonight during the draft and won't be able to post any spoilers anyways.
So they're going to use their picks to move up AND use their picks to get an established veteran? This is going to be the best draft ever!
So the Spurs want someone they think might go from 13-16, but probably won't be there at 19 - and someone else they think will be gone by 24. If it was just one guy they really wanted, they wouldn't be looking to trade up from 29.
I have a feeling Spurs want both Sekou and Goga .
I've been pulling an RC this afternoon so take this with a grain of salt but, I could see us giving a 2nd for him if we moved white in a separate trade that got us into the top 10.
That would be awesome!!
Don Ha backpedaling already
Harris vs. TSpence 2019 version.
Let's do this.
Well just a few more hours to see what our spurs do!
Sekou won't be there at even 13.
Hmm ... interesting.
I guess it is silver and black, though, imo, tbh, idk.
Think they're targeting Bol?
Probably not but I don't know. Last year it was common knowledge that the Spurs wanted Walker but this year it's all smoke a mirrors.
My guess would be Rui but that's not going on much, tbh.
Lets gooooooooooooooooo
Would they take our 49th? 6’6” 7’1” wingspan
God I hope they land someone a lot better than Walker.
