So long as kawhi is on the same floor, he won't be getting that much assist tbh.
The Hero hasn't had a double-digit assist game since May 21st, 2013 against the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference Finals. To you ladies and gentlemen at home, that's a infamous streak of 41 games! That means the Hero hasn't had a double-digit assist game in half of a regular season! Talk about fkn pathetic. This is our POINT GUARD? It sounds like he's more of a Kobe chubby chucker selfish player than a real contributor to the team, tbqh!
The Hero is having one of his worst assist years in a long time this year. It's clear that as he sees his career winding down he wants to go all full-on hero in attempt to get a max contract to close out his career. He should start to decline quickly as the speed leaves his legs and he turns 32 years old, so he's starting to panic, especially after all the money he had to give up to part ways with Eva (she had some dirt on him, per par).
This is a pathetic streak, IMO. How long will it continue?
So long as kawhi is on the same floor, he won't be getting that much assist tbh.
got a feeling he'll have double digit tonight unless they completely blow the Knicks out in the 1st half
I've noticed Tony dribbles a lot more than he used to. It could be intentional to slow the game so Tim isn't in a sprint contest all game. If he dishes it early it's like Leonard or Green shoots the ball. Still, you have to take the wide open look and Tony has been ignoring those when it's Leonard. Sometimes it's blatantly obvious.
Knicks are vulnerable now that Penny Pinching Dolan cut Chris Smith.
It has been nice watching the last and this upcoming game tonight.
You get to seat back and really enjoy the game knowing Spurs will annihilate the Knicks.
TP just seemingly kills the Knicks. I haven't double checked the numbers, but even if he doesn't put up massive stats, he's usually very efficient. Couple that with the fact he will be guarded by Beno/Old Argie and that Melo/Bargs are starting, you have a recipe for TP to kill them.
Not to mention, with all the NY rumors, I am sure he will want to impress..
If Duncan, Kawhi and Green were shooting better this year Parker would've gotten double digit assists easy
Kawhi? Don't get me started
Hero had a chance to pass for an assist but he shot it up while surrounded by 4 guys.
LMAO this guy is unreal.....Someone needs to slap this guy ASAP and tell him this team wont win any if he can't figure out when to hero ball and when not to.
LOL trying to put this on Parker alone.
Its a collective fest.
When did I say this was on parker?
You took great pleasure on your previous post calling him out. After all, this thread is about Parker.
Too much blame being heaped on TP, who is one of the primary reasons this team has been so great for so long. TP is my hero, tbh. You can't fault him for taking charge when the rest of the team wilts. Just because he's shooting like crap in this game doesn't mean hero ball won't pay off next game.
Winning Finals MVP over Duncan in 07 made Parker start to hero ball like a mother er. Before then he knew he was the 3rd most important guy on the Spurs roster.
yeah I sure did Afterall, people continue to ignore the fact that hero ball doesn't work against elite teams...See game 6.
Assitant coach just said " need to find open teameate.".
sean " Too much one on one"..I wonder who they're referring to
LOL ME. LOL SPURS
KAWHI was wide open in the break..Parker goes Enrique......
New york scores.
Make that 42 straight games of single-digit assists for Hero (a.k.a. "greatest PG ever" according to GSNF)
