When I look at the Suns' roster on paper, it's hard to understand why they're playing as badly as they are.
You left out "de Soto" as a choice.
They have good names on their roster, but no defense. They're still very good offensively, but not even in the top 20 as far as defense.
When someone has to make fun of someone/something at a low point, they're the loser. I don't think most Spurs fans really give a flying about the Mavs or Suns anymore.
The Mavs are actually 16th in defensive rating, Suns 23rd, and that's why Dallas will beat them out when it's all said and done. The Suns always falter after the all star break when it gets harder and harder to out shoot the opponent so they force the ball into Amare on every possession. Dallas will maintain their so so play for the rest of the year.

The Suns are capable of playing better defense than they have been. Lately they're too busy throwing themselves a pity party to be bothered to even play some half-assed defense.
Suns. More under utilized talent then the other two choices.

A starting lineup of Nash, JRich, Grant Hill, Stoudemire, and Shaq should be dominating most teams night in and night out. There's no passion right now. Amare looks like he doesn't care about playing.
