LAL replaced good professionals from last year with cheapo-stinko never-weres. I expect they can run it back with tons of mercenaries, but eventually like Peyton Manning the PEDs won't work on LeBron anymore and Anthony Davis is the softest, sweetest, biggest pillow in the world.
It's hard to see much of a future for the Lakers.
They have no young players.
They have no draft picks for years.
LeBron is slowly fading.
AD is injury prone and, even when healthy, has shown he can't be the main cog on a team that aspires.
They are utterly bereft.

LAL still have AD even if Lebron retires in the next few years. They will still be able to attract free agents, so they won’t bottom out as low as they did before Lebron, but we’ll see.
Feel like the LAC should come out on fire tonight, but then I thought the same about LAL last night.
It’s the Lakers. It may take a while but I won’t be surprised if they attract stars like Trae Young, Zion, Tatum etc. in the future.
