I think once Pop finally steps aside my Spurs hate goes away. He is the last link from those teams who treated us as little brothers all those years.
idk I never had a problem with SA even though their obsessed with us and our seasons. I have always rooted for SA in the finals whenever they made it. I love TD and Ginobili. Some of my fav players but as of rn that team needs a whole makeover. I’m sure they’ll figure it out soon but until then just like us they will be a lottery team or maybe make a 8 seed and get a low pick. TBH never gave a about the Lakers during the whole entire decade of the 2010's. If anything Laker fans were obsessed with the Spurs when there team was irrelevant. Hence the extreme trolling that occurred by them in here whenever the Spurs lost in the playoffs around '11-'19.

What other options did he have though? Tried Horry and he was just too slow at that point. Bowen was their best option. Bring a double and that team had enough fire power to make you pay for it. We killed teams with Dirk iso all season in 06.

Dirk was unstoppable in that series but I would have allowed him to get his and focus on the rest of the team. Going undersized against the Mavs killed the Spurs on the boards.
