Wonder why the Spurs aren't playing Utah this year.
They scared
Right!? I fcking love the summer league games. I wonder if it’s just to many games to play in both because they rested guys last year lmao
I think I read somewhere that all 30 teams play a total of 5 games each and the two with the best record play against each other for the le.
Usually they'd play three in Utah then five in Vegas iirc.
Hopefully Daniels or Sochan tears it up for us.
4 picks in top 40 while still having super young Primo?
Let's cancel going to Utah!
Going to Utah probably will run six figures, Spurs too broke
Samanic isn't ready yet
it still hurts
Our Summer League team is going to be fcking fire lol
Should be fun to watch
Damn, I'm gonna need more basketball than this.
he'll always have that one game against julian randle
The SL has historically been my favorite part of the year. I've really hated what's happened to it after ESPN brought the broadcasting rights. It went from being a treat for nerds/hardcore fans to a casual spectacle.
I miss getting streaming access to every game for like $15 back in they day. I have ESPN, but it doesn't feel the same when you're at their discretion about when to watch the games.
Primo, Sochan, Branham, and Wesley. Damn it's going to be an exciting summer league team to watch. Two weeks from today, can't wait.
Which 6-5 shooting guard will play at SF?
Branham
Looks like the Spurs also have summer league deals with Jordan Hall, Kyler Edwards, and Darius Days. Not sure of the details yet.
I wish we'd add John Butler to that list..
I'm far more interested in this than I was in the play in.
I know at his stage in tenure in the NBA Langford would not go to Summer League but if he wanted to prove something, would he be able to go? He is so peripheral at the moment he may want to sell himself if not to the Spurs but to another team.
Sucks we aren't doing Utah this year...4-5 games ain't a lot for either viewing pleasure or coaching evaluation
