At the end Dejounte has been a great pick at 29, he played his ass off and Spurs got a great value for him. This pick and player development have been a success for San Antonio.

For some perspective, I just saw that JR Smith listed DJM as one of his two favorite NBA players. Says a lot. Both positive and negative.

I love how DJ evolved in SA. His antics may get him another injury like the ACL that Harden inflicted on him. The structure in SA was probably both good for his growth and felt stifling.
He may have too much Alpha in him for Trae, too. That will be fun to watch.
