If the Spurs were the Eagles, who would be who?
So you have to pick your starting 5 and then analogize them with the Eagles.

Here's my choices. I went with what I thought would be the end of year lineup.

Tim Duncan would be Don Henley
Manu Ginobili woud be Joe Walsh
Richard Jefferson would be Timothy B. Schmit
Tiago Splitter would be Glen Frey
Tony Parker would be Don Felder

Duncan, Robinson, Gervin, Parker, and Ginobili would come together like Voltron to form Kevin Kolb.

I'd swap Parker and Splitter. Frey was crucial.

Sorry. It was the first 5 person group that came to mind. I guess I could have gone Fleetwood Mac.

My original thread was going to be:

If the Spurs were a pizza, who would be which ingredient?

    Tim Duncan – The Crust
The crust is the foundation of a pizza. It hold all of the other ingredients in place. Without it, you cannot have a pizza, only a bunch of stuff laying on a plate. It’s taken for granted but good crust can take a pizza to the next level.

    Manu Ginobli – The Sauce
The sauce is almost as important as the crust. It adds a certain kick. Sauce quality spans a broad range and sometimes you don’t even realize that your sauce is not good until you have had great sauce like the Spurs have been able to enjoy.

Tony Parker – The Cheese (Cheddar)
Mozzarella cheese, the standard of pizza holding everything together. But Tony is Cheddar. It tastes pretty good on its own but isn’t the best for conventional pizza. But this is the cheese we have.

But then I ran out of motivation. There was going to be a funny RJ joke and then something about the peppers, mushrooms, etc. But then I couldn't figure out what the point was.
