Ken Mauer Jr. was born April 23, 1955, and is currently a referee in the NBA. He has been a referee since the 1986-87 season and has officiated over 1,200+ regular season games, 70+ play-off games and 3 NBA Finals games. He wears number 41 and purchased Pat Riley’s hair on Craigslist in 2006.

He was the referee in Game 2 between the Lakers-Celtics hwere Leon Powe had more FT's than the whole Lakers team and in game 2 this year hwere Kobe got into early foul trouble!!!
