it is weird and sad and kinda spooky that voting is now considered an extinction-level event for the Republican Party, within the Republican Party.

the Repug establishment has known the demographic trends a long time.

shrub/ head criminal regime told its US Attys to go after voter fraud nearly 20 years ago.

Evangelicals and church-goers are also shrinking

but the Cons ution nullifies the Dems' increasing demographic advantage

Brian Kemp Panics And Warns That Republicans Are Fighting For Their Lives

Kemp and Republicans thought they would get away with limiting voting rights,

and no one would say or do anything to stop them.

A state government can’t be “canceled.”

Gov. Kemp is hoping to gain political traction by leaning hard into the cancel culture argument,
    but

    the underlying panic is clear.

This isn’t going the way that Republicans expected, and

as the backlash continues to grow,

Kemp and Georgia Republicans have no idea what to do.

Nothing could be better for America than metaphorically DEAD Repugs, dead Confederacy, and 74M Trash voters

Why must you Trump s pretend the 98 page law is only about voter ID?

    Explain.

first off, this bill is about way more than ID

but there are issues with how the ID laws are implemented themselves. as for your example, less than half of americans have a passport. there are also weird instances where certain types of ID are allowed, and others aren't. like when North Carolina tried getting their voter ID law in place, they specifically excluded state employee IDs or government assistance IDs, while allowing other types. texas allows handgun licenses as valid photo ID, but not student IDs. these arent random decisions.

and then bigger picture, these laws are solutions looking for a problem. there has never been evidence of any form of widespread voter fraud that would actually impact federal elections

There was NO INTEGRITY in the GA Senate races because Dems won, meaning they must have cheated, so 98 pages is required to re-establish election integrity in GA.

It's hard for black people and people of color in general to obtain an ID. That's why it is racist.

Black-Americans find the english worded paperwork too difficult to comprehend. White slave owners didn't allow them to attend schools.

    Like Colorado, sure.

    Sorry, ducks.

    You have a question pending.

Why are you pretending ID is the only provision of the 98-page law you definitely didn't read or know at all?

Did chump read the whole 98 page bill or is he like James who only has a high school degree and likes to talk about things over his head?

April 8, 2021 – Former Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., joined "The Story" Thursday to respond to basketball star LeBron James' support for Major League Baseball moving the All-Star Game out of Atlanta.

COLLINS: Look, I enjoy watching LeBron James play basketball. The problem when it comes to this issue [is] he’s just wrong because he has not read the bill. He read the talking points spewed out early on. To say how this is somehow going to affect minority voting, Martha, I challenge you or anyone else, show me in this bill where it will affect or will harm minority voting, or for that matter any voting. We’ve expanded the number of hours, we've secured our vote.

This is not about this vote. This is about perpetuating a narrative to say that things are happening in Republican states, and particularly in Georgia, that are just not happening, and Major League Baseball got caught in the middle of it. And I think over time, this is going to be a turning point, I think in this culture now, to where we can have honest discussions about election law, which is the only thing that's happened here, but have it in a position of saying, 'OK, what is best for the people who vote?' and not an agenda being pushed on a narrative of voter suppression
