Had a great meeting at CIA Headquarters yesterday, packed house, paid great respect to Wall, long standing ovations, amazing people. WIN!
6:35 AM - 22 Jan 2017
==============
The 400 agency staffers were standing when Trump entered the room, were still standing when he came to the lectern, and then remained standing through his 15 minutes of remarks.
“You know that the
CIA will not sit down until the president tells them to,”
said Yael Eisenstat, who spent more than half of her 13-year career in counterterrorism and intelligence work at the agency.
Even more offensive to many in the intelligence world than Trump’s lack of understanding about protocol, though, was the content of his remarks ―
a rambling, campaign-style speech that
attacked the news media for their coverage of the inauguration,
a boast about his own intellect, and a
claim that almost everyone in the room had voted for him ―
all of it while standing in front of a memorial wall honoring the 117 CIA agents who have died in the line of duty over the decades.
“Unbelievable,” Wilson said. “It’s like going to do standup in Arlington Cemetery. I know how much that wall means to the people in the agency. I know how sacred that space is. It was a graceless display.”
Remember how media outlets talked about Trump’s “ability to read a room?”

Donald Trump, Republicans plan enormous tax cuts, even though it’s going to balloon the deficit
The Republican Party may throw away its fiscal responsibility mantra with its planned massive tax cuts
President Donald Trump and his administration, along with congressional Republicans, are reportedly thinking of implementing massive tax cuts that aren’t revenue neutral — ones that would cause the deficit to rise dramatically.
it will be difficult for Republicans to bring Democrats on board for a tax cut plan that increases the deficit (the one from Trump’s campaign would cost $10 trillion over a decade), could prove very difficult for the Trump team to overcome.

If you want to support Senator Warren's request to audit President Trump's finances for conflicts of interest, the Government Accountability Office says that the most effective way to be sure your support counts is to email two administrators, Katherine Siggerud and Timothy Minnelli -- and a third email address through which they're tracking people who are urging support for the audit.
You can send ONE email addressed to:
siggerudk@gao.gov, [email protected], [email protected]
Subject: Audit for President Trump's financial concerns
Dear Ms. Siggerud and Mr. Minnelli,
I’m writing in support of Senator Elizabeth Warren's request for an audit of President Trump's finances, to prohibit conflicts of interest that would prevent him from carrying out the responsibilities of the office without corrupt influence.
Sincerely

Trump says he will order ‘safe zones’ for Syria
President Donald Trash said on Wednesday he “will absolutely do safe zones in Syria” for refugees fleeing violence in the war-torn country.
Saying Europe had made a tremendous mistake by admitting millions of refugees from Syria and other Middle Eastern trouble spots, Trump told ABC News in an interview: “I don’t want that to happen here.”

Bill Maher Former porn star Jenna Jameson has attacked Bill Maher for criticizing President Trump over his infamous “grab them by the p****” remarks, claiming she saw Maher at the Playboy mansion and he “fits right in with us ‘p**** grabbers'”.
On Sunday night, Jameson went to Twitter to accuse the host of HBO’s Real Time of hypocrisy forcriticizing Trump over the infamous remarks in the 2005 recording with Billy Bush. In the recording, now-President Trump said that when he sees a beautiful woman he feels the urge to “grab them by the p****”.
“Just watched BILLmaher for s**** and giggles. You rail Trump about his grabbing p**** statement? lol I’ve seen you at the [Playboy] mansion,” she tweeted. Some people have instead attacked Jameson for being spurious with her claims, one Twitter user writing “She only said she’s seen him in the mansion; not saying specific behavior”—to which Jameson replied: “trust in fact, I saw his behavior … he fits right in with us ‘pussy grabbers.'”
Translators around the world reported that it’s a struggle to accurately interpret Donald Trump’s speeches, statements and interviews – a challenge which shows no signs of abating as the dominant newsmaker assumes the world’s most influential office.“For translators, Trump is an unprecedented and desolating struggle,” wrote professional translator Bérengère Viennot in the French version of Slate last month.
In the widely circulated article, Ms Viennot lamented the president’s disjointed syntax, run-on sentences and limited vocabulary.
“When it comes to speaking of something other than his victory, he clings desperately to the words contained in the question put to him, without succeeding in completing his own thought,” she wrote.
“The poverty of the vocabulary is striking.”

The Internet Is Ablaze With this Amazing Video From the Netherlands Welcoming Trump
the Dutch late night satirical show Zondag has been focusing its skewering efforts as of late on the outcome of the U.S. presidential election. And while Zondag and its host Arjen Lubach may not be household names here in the United States, a recent segment they did on President Donald Trump is lighting all corners of the internet on fire for its spot-on satire.
“[Donald Trump] had a clear message to the rest of the world,” says Lubach at the segment’s opening, “‘I will screw you over big time.'”
He continued, “And because we realize it’s better for us to get along, we decided to introduce our tiny country to him.” What follows is a parody visitor video littered with insanely accurate grabs and hot takes from Trump’s candidacy and campaign, all framed around the contributions of the Netherlands to the global community.
“We speak Dutch,” says a narrator who does a frighteningly-accurate impression of POTUS himself. “It’s the best language in Europe. We’ve got all the best words. All the other languages failed. Danish… total disaster. German is not even a real language. It’s fake. It’s a fake language.”
Then, in what I can only assume is a twist of insider baseball given the big reaction from the Dutch crowd, the segment continues, “We’ve got Ponypark Slagharen, which has got to be the best ponypark in the world. It’s true. They’re the best ponys, they are. You can ride them, you can date them, you can grab ’em by the pony, it’s fantastic.”

The planet RIDICULES the toxic clown Trash
Trump is doing great. He is pulling Federal funding from Sanctuary Cities now. About time!
How "progressive" of you.
BOOM: WaPo went there.
I’ve been wondering who in the mainstream press would be the first to put the pieces together and have the courage to write about Trump’s obvious mental incapacity.
Jennifer Rubin just dropped this:
Maybe Trump isn’t ‘lying’
Schumer calls that a political problem. He gently offered, “In general you cannot run a country unless you know the facts. If you’re going to believe your own facts, whether it’s about what Putin is doing in the world or what jobs or companies are doing here, you aren’t going to be able to govern, so I worry about it.”
The shorter version: If he cannot accept reality, he is not fit to carry out the duties of the president.
We are not calling — yet — for invocation of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment.
(“Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”)
We are calling for someone, perhaps his children, to see if they can prevail upon him to stop behaving in this way, for if not, legitimate worries will mount about whether he is able to carry out his duties.
We also are saying that Republicans need to be pressed to state their view:
Is he lying or is he unable to separate what he wants to believe and what exists, literally, in front of his eyes?
The first makes him morally unfit, and was the basis upon which many #NeverTrumpers refused to vote for him.
If the latter, they — and we all — have a cons utional crisis the likes of which we have never seen.
With Trump, however, we have learned the past provides no guarantees.

Narcissistic personality disorder
Narcissistic personality disorder is one of several types of personality disorders. Personality disorders are conditions in which people have traits that cause them to feel and behave in socially distressing ways, limiting their ability to function in relationships and other areas of their life, such as work or school.
If you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may feel a sense of en lement — and when you don't receive special treatment, you may become impatient or angry. You may insist on having "the best" of everything — for instance, the best car, athletic club or medical care.
At the same time, you have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. You may have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation. To feel better, you may react with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make yourself appear superior. Or you may feel depressed and moody because you fall short of perfection.
Many experts use the criteria in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), published by the American Psychiatric Association, to diagnose mental conditions. This manual is also used by insurance companies to reimburse for treatment.
DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder include these features:
- Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance
- Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
- Exaggerating your achievements and talents
- Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
- Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
- Requiring constant admiration
- Having a sense of en lement
- Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
- Taking advantage of others to get what you want
- Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
- Being envious of others and believing others envy you
- Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner
Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence, it's not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal and value yourself more than you value others.

It’s No Trump Tower, but White House Has ‘Beautiful’ Phones
President Trump, who flew across the country on hundreds of nights during the 2016 campaign to sleep in his own bed, has now spent five straight days in the unfamiliar surroundings of the White House. His aides said privately that he seemed apprehensive about the move to his new home, but Mr. Trump has discovered there is a lot he likes.
“These are the most beautiful phones I’ve ever used in my life,”
“The world’s most secure system,” he added, laughing. “The words just explode in the air.”
What he meant was that no one was listening in and recording his words.
“They have a lot of board rooms,”
“I’ve had people come in; they walk in here and they just want to stare for a long period of time,”

Secret Service agent: I wouldn’t take a bullet for Trump
A longtime U.S. Secret Service member wrote in a Facebook post that she would not take a bullet for President Trump in open defiance of the
Hatch Act, which forbids Secret Service agents and other federal employees from making partisan statements on social media.
Kerry O’Grady wrote the post shortly before the election, in support of Hillary Clinton:
“As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle to not violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median.
To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position.
Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides.
But this world has changed and I have changed.
And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”
O’Grady deleted the post several days later, after at least one complaint was filed to her superiors. However, she recently has also changed her Facebook cover photo to images of the Women’s March in Denver, writing “all of these women represent me! Proud to say it! #nasty.”
