Yes please, we could drop Lauvergne. Not to mention he's a good player. A little outdated in this 3 pt shooting league, but he's still pretty good.
Phoenix has bought out Greg Monroe. He’ll be a free agent. Should the Spurs go after him?

I prefer Brook Lopez buyout option.
I’d take him over Joffrey anytime
Redundant and wouldn't take a reduced role when he can take bigger ones elsewhere.
He celebrates after dunks...Pop won't get him.
Lmao Drunkford will wake up a day after he's signed with Boston. I expect a signing in the same tier as the Joel Anthony one he sharted out last time
He's not that good but would be an upgrade over Joff but that's not saying much
Bonner coming out of retirement with 100 extra pounds of sandwiches in him would be an upgrade over Joff, tbh.
Over the bird in the hand?
This was really funny Padre... made me laugh. Cheers
I remember people wanted this bum.
He’s going to the Celtics, they actually have assets to offer
the latter is a bigger issue
i'll take a redundant big if he replaces joff's minutes
Spurs could get dangerously close to, or even above the tax, if they pay off Joff and sign Monroe. Teams losing money don't do this.
How much time usually takes a team to get a disabled player exception? I guess New Orleans can count on getting it. Monroe would be easily a starter there raising his value for the offseason market.
You don't need assets, he's an Unrestricted FA after being bought out.
Yep. New Orleans is looking for somebody to fill-in for Boogie. Done deal, I believe.
Good call...that's where I'd try to land if I were him.
That was my initial thought as well, but Amused is actually somewhat correct. The Celtics have an $8M injured player exception they can use due to the Hayward injury, which is far more than any other contending team could drop for Monroe.
If they really want him, I'd be highly surprised if they don't get him.
