Actually this OKC series is old hat for the Spurs.
Trust me, it's always fun to see Spurs beat teams as badly as we beat OKC, watching LaMarcus get 38, etc so we'll get excited about it. But beating OKC isn't considered an accomplishment, nor are any Spurs fans overall that excited about the series.
OKC are like the Houston Rockets to us. So, you don't have to worry about Spurs fans acting like this is something new. Most of us are waiting for this series to be over with so we can look ahead to the WCF's.

While I like the enthusiasm that is not going to work. Spurs rely on less on the 3ball than pretty much every team in the playoffs. Sure, it would help with that, but probably create more problems than it solves considering the Spurs really take more mid-range shots than any team and you would essentially be giving up wide open looks there with your strategy.
Gotta give the doctors of Tulsa kudos for saving Big Meth's life after failing jigsaw's puzzle.
