My version of the red inclined friends on this board.
"Fend for yourself dammit Winehole. Every man for himself. Dog eat dog world. The strongest survive."
funny, I thought one of the main reasons we have a government was so that everything doesn't have to be a war of all against all.

    snap poll:

how many of y'all have your thermostats set at 78F or higher?

    (ours is currently at 80F)
I never go under 78F for AC. Fans cost basically nothing to run if I need to feel cooler.

"Yes well it started like that.
But now its a way to control us.
Like suggesting we get magnetic vaccines put in our bodies so refrigerators stick to our head.
They are out to fool us and use us."

That card has folded edges and is well worn imo, it can be easily detected in the deck.

Would only work if Trump was still in office. Using it now says Biden allowed it. We know the nation is secure now.

It wouldn't work if Trump was in office.

Texas isn't connected to the national grid, nor is it regulated by the feds. This is 100% on the state government and on greedy, irresponsible energy companies.

They tried to make a hard right turn and slid off the highway.
Unfortunately we were in the car.

for-profit, deregulated hole Texas electric grid can't handle cold, can't handle hot,

but $28B excess profits after deregulation (vs. regulated)

Thoughts and prayers to everyone in Texas.

at our old condo we generally kept our AC at 78 anyway and it was fine. in our new place the upstairs gets a lot warmer than whatever the thermostat is set at, so we've been dropping it to 75 at nights, and leaving the fan on "on" instead of "auto". the stuffiness is more bothersome than the heat itself, and opening the windows does no good since its always dense, humid air at this time
