the thing is, and that's one thing Trump was good at, is that they're living in an entire, alernate reality totally impermeable to anything confronting their beliefs, where they're constantly fed with misinformation and anything challenging them will automatically designed as "fake news", "conspiracy" or here "fraud".
That's a simple, basic schtick Trump used his whole life, along with simple suggestion to exploit some insecure people naivety and offer them a very comfortable, empowering reality where they're always right, fighting the good fight and smarter than all these stupid sheeps believing the "big media"... THEY know. THEY understand.
