Go espuelas.
As I said in another thread, probably the biggest game of the year. Winning would essentially lock up the division and two-seed while also launching Kawhi into the main-stream MVP conversation.
Danny Green better show up tonight - both on offense and defense. We need his D to be locked in and he's gotta start hitting some open shots. I better not see him hesitate and pass it off, or dribble in for a stupid shot after having a wide open 3 like he's been doing lately.
Pacers vs Hornets on TNT instead of Rockts-Spurs ..
Spurs can't afford a lackadaisical start here.. I don't think they would have the energy to comeback from double digit deficit vs this Rockets team after a draining week..
This really could get ugly very quick..so let's hope our guys are up for it..
The WIN matters most. The heavy MVP narrative will start Saturday @ 7:30 on ABC
Not with KD injured. GS games really only have downside to Kawhi now. But going 3-1 against Harden, 3-0 against Russ and 2-0 against Lebron would be HUGE for him.
Spurs bout to win comfortably. Good stuff
Need Manu/Patty/Green to all shoot the ball well tonight, and hopefully we get good/aggressive LMA.
The one thing I'm noticing with Patty is his balance. He seems to be fading away more than usual, or taking awkward steps to get set or something of that nature.
I really hope he had a chance to look at film, squares his body and cuts out the uncessary extra dribble/movement.
I dunno man. It's all about the #1 seed that's the biggest argument chip for his case..winning on Saturday and him dropping 30 helps that. But yes winning against Hou/OKC help. Saturday is icing on the cake imo. None of it matters if he doesn't win on Saturday
He's just not very good shooting off the dribble..or just playing out of PNR
Any rumors on if anyone is resting?
I'll be there tonight rooting for the Spurs. I think its going to be a of a game.
Enjoy!
have fun at the game.

Murray and Bertans were assigned to Austin on Sunday. Will they be back for tonight's game?
