maybe if you dont keep signaling to the whole world that you always want to be the aggressor forcing everyone around you to arm up, you wouldnt have those same security concerns. ukraine didnt have for a military 8 years ago. but you invade them and suddenly they wake up and realize they need to be able to defend themselves.
