imho the republicans just did dems a favor by nomianting such a clown like romney that had no chance of beating obama in the election, knowing the economy is so bad that it'd only drag down the approval rate of the president and his party no matter who wins the office. No one wants to take the hot seat as US president at this point of time imho

I disagree that not voting is un-American (assuming you were serious). In fact I would argue it is one of the most American things you can do
I was actually just being sarcastic about it being un-American.

I'm conservative in most aspects, but haven't liked anyone on the ballot in long time.

Besides, we asked the kids who we should vote for this morning and three out of the four said, "Romney." The fourth one said, "Obamney"... I guess he was the only one who was right.

Rove looks nuts, but no one is having a Chris Matthews meltdown.

With fiscal cliff approaching, dems have republicans in a corner on tax increases, no? They have to compromise. What am I missing here?
You're missing the fact that when it comes to staring contests over taxes, Obama has blinked first every single time.

Fox News is ing awesome "It's a chance for him to reach out to Republicans..." Ha! If Obama does that he's stupid as , to be honest.

"Romney being a man of decency, we expect him to make that call soon"...

I'm so glad I live in Hawaii and it's not midnight here.
I thought you were in Clovis.

I disagree that not voting is un-American (assuming you were serious). In fact I would argue it is one of the most American things you can do
"If you are bored and disgusted by politics and don't bother to vote, you are in effect voting for the entrenched Establishments of the two major parties, who please rest assured are not dumb, and who are keenly aware that it is in their interests to keep you disgusted and bored and cynical and to give you every possible reason to stay at home doing one-hitters and watching MTV on primary day. By all means stay home if you want, but don't bull yourself that you're not voting. In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard's vote.”

I'm sure that was their thought process. Why would Republicans want to be in power for four years, possibly elect two new SCOTUS judges, have veto power, etc etc, when they can just , moan, and obstruct? Good call

Looks like I might get out of that, actually. The nearest place for my son's surgery was four hours away, so I'll likely be relocated.

If you are playing a bingo drinking game of Republican excuses, and your squares have "Sandy ruined momentum", "Not conservative enough!" and/or "Liberal media!", you should call 911 right now.
