Claims that are outlandish and hard to believe like that one and this one will be considered caustic for news agencies, which is why it was back page material. It was just a small investment. If it turned out to be true, they could say they broke the story. If not, they can simply bury it with a correction and avoid the embarrassment Juicy caused.
