one the 5-10 best point guards in the league.
Yeah he’s on the verge of top 5 there’s not many PG in the league I would take over him on both sides of the floor based on the level he is playing.

I'm not ready to give up on Walker just yet...
He needs consistency. He had a very good game tonight. Now, he has to continue. He can't go sticking his head in the ground like an ostrich in the next game.

We all know he has the skills and the athleticism. He needs to get his head right. It seems he is too easily defeated when negative things happen early in the game. Just stay aggressive on both ends and good things will come.

That mid range game is going to be so ing useful for the playoffs (whenever it’s going to be). Literally the best type of offense when things slow down and teams play harder defense in the playoffs
    Now we’re talking playoffs?

Spurs aren't gonna make the playoffs. What they will do is up their draft position.

Gettin' close tho aren't ya??? Me too.

If he could just give a little effort on rebounding, assists, etc. For a big, strong-looking-athletic guy, he's a pussy.

Is it possible we are a better team without white as players have better roles? Do vassel and Murray just work better together? They haven't missed white at all so far.

I have fear the tank is on life support.

It’s weird seeing teams saying f*ck it on last second scores. Thought that was an unwritten rule, hold the ball with game in hand. Now CJ goes through and scores a layup. Seen this happen a lot lately. No real feelings on it, just strange to see.
    Stat-obsessed era tbh.

speaking of mid range......it pisses me off that Mr. Mid Range is shooting a bunch of 3s now for the Bulls. Not only that, but that ing choke artist has been clutch as in the closing minutes of many of their games.

I don't hate the guy, and wish him well. Just a bit bitter with the crap we had to deal with....all the late game misses and turnovers and hardly shooting any 3s, even though he obviously had the range and it would have helped our offensive spacing and flow tremendously.

vassell is definitely more dynamic then white especially as a scorer

or being a team leader and teaching the younger guys to play till the end and don't give up.

We all agree they are trash, but CJ is trying to help change that culture.

To us it is a meaningless shot, but to him and that team, it could be a selling point in the locker room.

I think Pop will try to coach them always and teach, but if things are not close, he’ll just throw in the towel.

But yeah, I think it’s addition by subtraction without Derrick, with roles better defined

well he did say "whenever its going to be"

and we are literally 1 game out of the play in. not completely out of the realm that it could be this year tbh

personally i'd rather see this young team begin winning some games and just garner some confidence but not so much for this year but so that they have something to build on for next year. knowing that they can be a good team. confidence means everything for a young team and winning will give that confidence.

but regardless, i'm still excited about this team going forward, high pick or low pick

huge fan of Vassell and glad to see he is making the most of his minutes. I was worried when he was slumping bad early on. Now he has more minutes, a more defined role, and has found the life in his game we were hoping for and expecting.

any game on a b2b on the road after a sizzling shooting night the night before is ALWAYS a recipe for disaster. Yet Spurs are up 15 with 2 1/2 mins to go.
Doug getting hot from three to start games and staying consistent really helps open things up for the teams offense. No coincidence both games rhis was the case

Again 28 year old DJ is going to be absolutely insane. He just turned 25 5 months ago. With the ACL injury along with the rawness he came out of college with, he’s just getting started.

We are still lacking another Big. Some of you seem to be high on Zollins, far more than I am. Hopefully, he is that guy who can bring us some much-needed help in the front court. Ca is ok in shorts spurts to eat up some minutes when we are playing well as a team, but I worry if we are struggling. He really doesn't offer much at this level, though he has been pretty good in Austin. We will definitely need Zollins to be a bigger part of the team if we do actually make the post season.
