She is leading in the polls. These loons are the future of our country if Biden is elected. He refuses to denounce these extremists. Worse he shielded the extremists by positioning them as "just an idea".

Which is more dangerous, a candidate who wears a skirt with commie creeps on it, or militia assholes who plot to kidnap the Michigan governor and overthrow the state government?

Fringe anarchists are less concerning than a city of Democrats supporting their communist loving antifa mayor.

It was the same answer as Joe Biden's answer, except more flowery.

    She's apparently a communist, generally.

Not my word. Her apparent signals. Though she tried to distance herself from her apparent idols.

Portland mayoral candidate who calls herself an antifa advocate wore an outfit that featured the faces of Stalin, Mao Zedong & other communist dictators. She says it is pop art and that this is a distraction.

i dont deny that she apparently wore some attire with faces of those people. but i dont follow her politics closely at all to know where she stands on specific local issues which are actually of significance for somebody running for mayor. a mayor isnt going to be able to establish a socialist regime or communist society ... its more day to day stuff. city budgeting, police reform, etc

Seems that you're very conveniently disregarding the current state of affairs.
They have a lot of control over "communist society" stuff. See Chicago / Portland riots.

It's apparently a magical fairly land that you espouse and not a society in which overlords rule over the masses of peasants with an iron fist.

That's nothing. London's imperial war museum is filled with thousands of photographs of Antifa activities (see example below)!

No. It’s utopian and unrealistic. Attempts to implement it have been unsuccessful and yielded poor results.

A mayor who likes communism in theory yet lacks any actual power to attempt to implement it isn’t a threat to reproduce the aforementioned poor results

to the extent they want to push for greater equity and curtail unjust hierarchy, i don’t think those ideas are inherently problematic. I don’t think the election of a mayor puts our country’s capitalism at risk

She is wearing symbols of absolute heirarchy. If you want to write that off, that's your deal. I think it's naive.

you're free to think that. i'm not a communist/socialist, and by extension, not particularly a fan of a candidate who is one. with that said, i dont think a mayor has enough pull to actually threaten capitalism, so her outlandish view on ideal economic/governmental structure is not particularly relevant to the ins and outs of how she would serve the city
