For cutting thru seatbelts and breaking windows quickly if need be.
    For example submerged.

Does it have to be a specific hammer or can a Walmart $2 break the window glass if you're in a sinking car?

Good Q. Not sure if a regular hammer cracks the glass as easily as this one.
    However:

    1. Carrying a hammer in your car where? That can be dangerous in a wreck if hammer is not fastened down thus flies around.
    2. Seat belt cutter combo.

I would think I'd keep the hammer in the glove box

    Comes flying out upon collision.
Pops your airbag and your girlfriends silicon hooters.

I'm liking the sound of this mini hammer / glass breaker.

Would seem to make more sense to keep it in the center console or driver's side door. Handy but probably more necessary in places with a lot more water.

The IG link showed the mini hammer / glass breaker with it's own holding mechanism attatched to the door.

    Maybe this link will work.

And here is our practical application.

SpursforSix could even get his name on the news.

I've got about 14 things in my car that will easily break out a window. 12 if I don't count my fists.
