If LA can't play as a defensive anchor anymore Spurs are done. More done than the Demar lack of shooting and balldominance issue. I'd be fine with a trade, a rebuild etc. I'd still watch them this season if I knew relief was in sight this summer.

What is despiriting is to not expect any changes bc Spurs like to stand pat, and don't like to trade culture guys, and don't want to tank, and etc. you know the schtick.

I was excited as anyone else about Murray's return, but so far I'm not that impressed. I know we're only 10 games into the season, but his handles still need a lot of work and he seems to be lacking smarts on the defensive end. He's a great on the ball defender, but he misses too many assignments on the defensive end. His lack of ball handling skills and failure to play under control has hurt the team.
