Where we left off...
Haha Marlins actually participated in 2020 Playoffs and were swept. Their first October elimination.
Yes much respect to Astros. Rewarded with the easiest path on paper. Rays vs Orioles will be tough.
NL
Everyone loves Phillies as the 3rd best team but don't sleep on Milwaukee. I think they reach the NLCS. But they also have the toughest path although Dbacks over used their arms this weekend
Phillies in a 5-game series is Braves worst nightmare. It's all in time. Either revenge or 2nd year cucking.
Braves offense looks extremely deep and bullpen is solid. The starting pitching is a little shaky.
- Strider is starting Game1 (unproven)
- Fried Game2, hurt finger
- Elbert Game (unproven)
Morton is unavailable til the NLCS. Braves vs Phillies will be wild
Twins must finally break their Playoff futility
Kinda goofy but I don't think there should be a rule where Division ties alter seeding

Rays nearing 30 straight Innings scoreless in postseason
Shutout at Home to open a series is brutal
4 errors. Ouch.
Rays have lost 6 straight Playoff games
[Game1 of the 2021 ALDS vs Boston]
Jesus H. Christ, I can't even count on the in' Brewers to grant me relief. me.
Rays looking like the Devil Rays so far tbh imho
Tropicana Field!? More like Globe Life East I saaaaaaiiiiiiiiid
Feel bad for the Rays who got screwed with this new postseason format. Won 99 games only for their postseason to last barely over 24 hours

$3 parking
$1 margaritas near the stadium
But MLB is to blame too
Tuesday 3pm local time game. 36 hour notice.
Boring start to the Postseason 2 days in
LDS will likely be great
yeah still amazing to me that sh1thole professional stadiums like Tropicana Field still exist in 2023. Atleast the Coliseum in Oakland had a unique quirkiness to it
This offseason there is a proposal for a new stadium. This poor showing couldn't have happened at a worse time for them. 7-straight playoff losses I think
Phillie DP in the 8th devastates ATL
- Phillies deserved the Win. Sketchy glove interference on the 3rd run but ultimately didn't matter.
- Phillies managed like do or die going to the Bullpen in the 4th inning. Probably costs them in Game2.
- Braves shut out for the first time since May. Tip cap to Phillies but this is opponent we were 8- 4 against. Long layoff made a difference.
- brutal 5-game setup in the LDS. Especially for a team reliant on hitting. You can start a new pitcher on Monday but asking an offense to catch fire in Game2 of 5...
We will win Game 2
2nd year of the new playoff setup
NL wild cards on pace for 4-0
