IMO, we have low floor, high ceiling guys in Vassell, Lonnie (and Primo, but likely later) at the SG spot. Spurs foolishly went for Forbes of all people to create a sort of equilibrium to counter the inexperience at either guard option. Would have preferred other options, but it is what it is.

Vassell was such a low upside pick... but for a guy who doesnt really have game to create on offense, he's been horribly underperforming as a shooter

what a complete show this 2nd half has been. I was all excited when I was driving home from work and saw the score. I get home to watch the 2nd half, and the Spurs can't shoot for . No 3s, no 2s, tons of turnovers......just complete garbage.
This summer league team is unwatchable. Tre is surrounded by even when Vassell was playing. Primo on load management is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen the Spurs do and we’ve all seen a lot. Book it, he won’t sniff playing time with the main team for 2 years. He’s way too weak to even play above summer league scrubs, reg nba would eat him alive.

im holding out hope for the kid but right now he definitely needs to fill out weight wise.

I think Primo is gonna be good. Good lord Vassell has been shockingly bad in this SL. Gotta be concerned that a year two lotto pick is looking this bad against scrubs.
