Nearly 20 years without a World Cup winner
I don't see Qatar or Japan again, so that's an improvement i guess
Easily the best tournament outside of the World Cup, tbh (lol UEFA and Concacaf)

Nor Mexico or the US.... this is the real deal, tbh
That's on the MMA forum, tbh
LOL No.
As soon as Dive Maria came in, I knew Argentina is going to tie or lose this game, tbh... posting this with 22 mins to go
Morata and Gonzalez missing everything today
Ah the drama of Copa America
God bless conmebol teams and their shenanigans
Lionel Harden scored, which means FAP won even if his country didn't.
Sup son? Good thing I decided to check this forum or else I would have missed a (non)-mention. I always win, tbh.
I forgot how to mention. It's only a handful of people posting on this subforum anyway, it's hard to miss.
Congrats on the win though
Last champion was Brazil 2002, though Argentina was close in 2014, Uruguay was good in 2010, only 2018 was abysmal.
It used to be if World Cup is South America, the champion was from South America and if the WC was in Europe, the champion was always from Europe, with the lone exception of Sweden '58.
After Italy '90 all became fuzzy. In US '94 it was Brazil, the Corea/Japan '02 again Brazil and since '06 European NT's always won.
It will be interesting to see what happens in Qatar, will South American NT's disappear from semi-final again or win the mundial again.
Brazil seems slimmer in talent than ever before since I watch football. Argentina is in permanent chaos. Uruguay seldom has great forwards, midfielders and backs at the same time. And Colombia lacks perhaps swagger.
94: Italy > Brazil
02: Field > Brazil
I thought that Brazil was the luckiest side ever to get two in three when they clearly weren't that dominant.
All the same, I just figured their run of luck would continue and I'd be cursing their luck on end.
If Brazil wins again it'll be as a dark horse. God forbid that happens. And it'd probably be peak Neymar if it does.
Argentina gets more buy-in for team chemistry than Brazil, who have larger egos to reign in.
Therefore, I like their chances more if Messi can finally get it all to click and other players step up.
Enough with the Di Maria sh** though. They got something else in the wings?
It’s insane how much Messi carries Argentina
Good win against the 4st best team in the world, currently... (Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Uruguay)...
Should just suspend the next World Cup in that sub-saharan country and hand it to the winner of Copa America, tbh, IMO, FWIW
It’s the only option since Argentina isn’t gonna win thr WC on the pitch
The excessive diving, rolling about holding the wrong injured region, and then all ing at the ref all at once makes this tournament truly a thing to watch. Then 8 yellow cards for each team making sure to spare the red.
I wish these people would just play the damn game.
Brazil could win the WC with the older guys on the field along with the others if Neymar would just stay composed for once in his life. The others... no way.
It is what it is...
