Weird that people are disappointed when hurricanes don't hit population centers.
Exactly.
Yeah, but it's hitting the exact spot hurricane Rita hit in 2005, similar intensity as well. Very sparsely populated area. Underwhelming. No threat to either of Houston/NOLA

Dammit.
We need rain.
The deer in Leon Creek Bike paths are starting to look horrible.
Id rather have a Mountain Lion in there taking them out than starving them.
They are way over populated.
On the bright side.
Houston is predicted right now to get minor rain so Joel Olsteen has no worries about yelling for people to get off his lawn.
Already a Cat 2 105MPH
Cat 4 now expected
Pelicans78 don’t you live in this area? If so good luck son.
Manny on suicide watch tbh
My parents live in Port Arthur. They are here in Houston with me. But my old house is probably a goner.
Marco was such a dud i didn't even know it made landfall already
It actually never made landfall. It stayed west in the Gulf and fizzled out.
Cat 4 now, transforming into Super Saiyan

Got some friends up in Lake Charles, hopefully they'll be okay.
Were they good swimmers when you guys crossed the river?
Well it blew in a ton of humidity today, felt like ing Houston.
Yeah I had to do some outside today, was drenched.
Well as much as I need rain I'm happy to take a pass on Laura. Really just need a low pressure system to the west of SA to break the drought.
Lake Charles and Sulpur getting ed with no Vaseline worse than Chucho’s mama
Yeah I live in Lake Charles. We evacuated yesterday around 7am to my uncle’s in the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our power went out at the house around 12:30am and our cameras went down. Anxious to get back but need to wait out the potential storm surge.
I hope your property survived unscathed.
