I didn't respond to your exact response because Chucho said exactly what I wanted to say. I agree with Chucho 100 percent. Jordan has already established his reputation as a corporate guy for over 30 plus years. It would not be profitable for him or Nike to suddenly start speaking on social issues simply because he would come across as not believable and a fraud. Nike would not be able to market him the same way as Lebron in that regard.

Look. The media wants to talk about the Lakers. That's just a fact that understandably irritates other fan bases. No matter how much balloon spit is expended pretending they are proponents of the Clippers, Bucks etc. they want to talk about the Lakers. If the WC finals had turned out to be the Trail Blazer vs. Mavericks there would have been ritual suicides in the offices of TNT, ABC/ESPN and Fox. Heck. A Rockets/Thunder vs. Nuggets/Jazz final wouldn't bring down the suicide rate either. The Clippers vs. anyone but the Lakers wouldn't be ideal for them but at least they'd have an excuse to play-up the "are the Clippers finally out of the Lakers shadow?" angle. The other teams are a device to talk about the Lakers. LeVar Ball damn near has his own time slot with ESPN when Lonzo was in LA despite Lonzo sucking fish heads. I'll bet a paycheck that Max Kellerman, unprovoked, declares for 8th or 9th time that Kawhi is better than Lebron.
