Now that we're virtually healthy (Gasol don't fit on the Lakers and is a massive pussy, so I don't give a about his absence), it's quite clear we're the best in the mother ing West. I have to admit that I somewhat feared the Thunder, but not any longer. They're a spineless team who's completely reliant on the refs (unlike my Lakers) and can't close games unless they're up by double-digits. Lord Kobe will cut them mother ers up in a close game like a Spartan marauding his way through hundreds of attacking Persians. Contenders don't lose close games to the Thuggets (yeah, I know we lost, but we were on a back-to-back, and Kobe's elbow tendinitis was flaring up in that game).
And, Spurmfan, I know that jugular vein in your fat necks is throbbing like Peter North's engorged right now at the fact I had the audacity not to mention your beloved Silver 'n heroes. Spurs ain't even on my radar. Especially now they lost Parker. If you have the misfortune of seeing us in the 1st round, we tapping that ass in 5.
Real talk, people, the Lakers are an incredible 12-4 in their last 16, while playing an absolutely brutal schedule. Dwight's healing up. Clark is emerging as the best young talent in the league. And Kobe Bryant is doing his Greatest of All Time thang.
I just don't see who can stop us.
