I know at his stage in tenure in the NBA Langford would not go to Summer League but if he wanted to prove something, would he be able to go? He is so peripheral at the moment he may want to sell himself if not to the Spurs but to another team.
My understanding is there is no restriction on who can play, so he technically could. But like you said, it's probably "beneath him" since Summer League is usually for rookies and GLeague prospects, not guys who have been in the league 3 years (although not with a lot to show for it)

Especially with three first-round picks and a fewer-than-normal amount of games. I would be surprised to see anyone from last year's main club in the Summer League outside of maybe one game of Primo and perhaps some minutes for Wieskamp and other end-of-roster guys.

I wonder with 4 rooks on the summer league team if the spurs might decide that Primo doesn’t need to go. I doubt that but they’ve been signing a lot of Summer leagues guys it seems

I think he should go. If he looks leaps and bounds better than his compe ion first game or two just shut him down.

Butler and Lee are both still out there. Scoop up and bring em to Vegas. Butler is in the KD mold, long, tall SG. Lee is a long distance sharpshooter from Davidson.

Yeah, Primo needs to be there for a couple of reasons for one he needs all the work he can get and two I think he is the same age as these guys. So it would help them to get to know each other and Primo can give them the lay of the land on what to expect from Pop...

Wieskamp should be going. I'm unsure about Primo. He was starting down the stretch and that was better experience than he'll get in SL.

Apparently Walton Jr. will play with the Spurs. Journeyman/fringe NBA type PG with some experience in the league.

I would imagine everything will end up being available on demand. Might have to spring for ESPN+.

Primo should be on the team imo, at least for a while. And if he starts dominating then they can just pull him out like they did Kyle Anderson when he proved too good to be there.

They almost always bring the previous year’s FRP(s) to SL the next year, if only for a short burn, and to get to know the new guys.

Primo needs to play SL. Be interesting to see how he stacks up against Wesley and Branham.
