    lol denial

lol beginning of the end and you know it
Beginning of the end and no one expected them to even make the playoffs

Oakland is losing their stars to FA.
    Seattle isn’t doing anything
The Angels are still the Angels
    So are the Rangers

There are no threats to give the Astros trouble next season in the AL West.

Then shouldn’t they have been an easy out?

You didn’t answer the question. You brought up the record. Shouldn’t they have been an easy out?

If you are judging them by if they made the World Series, they lost in the ALCS in 2018 and made the WS in 2019. Again, Nobody thought Dusty would get them 1 game away.

The bottom of the lineup being horrific caught up with them. Pitching is there. If you have that you will compete.

    1. MN
    2. Due to Covid, no away crowds to remind them of their cheating ways. Note road record this year vs home. Also note batting average of Cheastros with and without tipped pitches. Game Over.

    3. Impressive run vs Oakland and Rays i will give you that. They overachieved.

not necessarily, they still have a very good roster

the record was brought up because of the fact that in normal situations they wouldn't have made the playoffs

If you are judging them by if they made the World Series, they lost in the ALCS in 2018 and made the WS in 2019. Again, Nobody thought Dusty would get them 1 game away.
    still didnt make it

and didnt win it in 2019

the only time they won it? when they were verified cheaters

May's getting the start, probably as a 1 to 2 inning opener. Not too confident with that choice. Kid has a nasty fastball and physics breaking 2 seamer, but doesn't have an effective off-speed out pitch yet. He could crumble under the pressure, too. Could get ugly for the Dodgers in a hurry.

Tough start for May. 2 leadoff walks but escapes only surrendering 1 run.

Is the field wet? Every time the ball hits the grass a puff of white powder like substance comes up.

Tight strike zone. Meat of Braves lineup swinging away.

I’ve seen enough to give the Rays a clear advantage in the World Series.

These two teams don’t score a lot and their pitchers are spotty. Rays in 6.
