I thought American Psycho was incredible tbh...

Imagine calling Bret Easton Ellis “brilliant” and Cormac McCarthy “gauche”
It's an okay watch / exploration. Some dudes just can't get past the hype like you say though.
Keep clutching your pearls, slob.
I love McCarthy, but his books can be hard for me to read. The sparse use of punctuation throws me off. I hope they never try to make Blood Meridian.
great scene tbh
Great scene, but the best scene in the movie is:
Recent but Batman films had a few
16 years Before we voted in Alex Jones as our president
Moar Hollywood trash.
But the Aaron Baynes edit of this was great.
Not most influential but one of my favorites and cold as
"and I think you know both the boys."
When it gets there it's even better if you close your eyes...
- "I hate to bust a cap on a woman."
- Frank Hamer
-The Highwaymen-
What I like about that scene is that it was filmed in the actual spot Bonnie and Clyde were killed, and it was the only time we actually see their faces. And when we do see them, we see what they really were - a couple of skinny kids.
Did not know that!
The next scene on is when the car is towed into town with the bodies still in. It's also a fine scene as well.
And I like the roar of the V-8 as the car comes in.
Otis Taylor recounting "10 Million Slaves" as Floyd (Channing Tatum) is taken down with set triggers...
-Public Enemies-
Russo, per usual at perfection...
-Once Upon a Time in America-
Dix & Doll -The Asphalt Jungle-
Dix in his ancestral horse pasture, eyes fixed and dilated.
Doll staggering to the house.
