suns blow
...will they make a mid-season trade for a veteran Center to prepare for Gasol and the Lakers?
Discuss.
The Suns are 4-0. The Mavs beat the Lakers. The Wizards beat the Mavs. The Bulls beat the Spurs. Dirk scores 29 in a quarter. Manu pulls a flying mammal out of the sky.
It's still very early in the season. Flukes happen.
They should trade Marion for Shaq.
I saw what the OP did there.
Which technically means Wizards > Lakers
so since the Wizards beat the Mavs who beat the Lakers...does that mean '09 co-champs are the Hawks and Cavaliers since they beat the Wizards? w2g LeBron you just won a shared le!!!
me?? nooo...im not talking
Im not implying that you guys are going to redo 2008 again
It's not that crazy. Look what happened to the Heat right after they got a center who started for a championship team. Oberto = rings.
That's right. You were the Champs.
this thread is hilarious. The Suns have beaten the Clippers, Warriors, T-Wolves, and Heat. Now out of all those teams the only "mediocre" one is the Heat. Let's see how the Suns handle the Magic, Celtics, Wizards, and Lakers in these next 4 out of 6 games....
The Wizards? The Suns are better than the Wizards, gimme a break.
The OP has good point...the suns will feel threatened when gasol comes back and make a trade for Yao Ming. lol
Champs are the champs until someone beats them
Unfortunately, any hope of pulling off the miracle trade was squashed when the Suns decided they would rather buy out Ben Wallace (and that Sasha kid too) rather than use that expiring contract as trade bait for someone such as a Gasol (as if a trade like that could ever happen again). In addition, the Suns have no draft picks to trade since they BRIBED OKC to take Kurt Thomas' EXPIRING contract off our hands with this years pick and you cant trade away picks from consecutive years.
Thus, the short answer is "no". As bad as the deal was that Memphis got, the Suns cant even offer THAT.

Not as hilarious as you taking this thread seriously.
so that means Toronto are the Champions since they beat the LeBrons, also the lakers beat the hawks but the lakers already lost to the mavs so congratulations CANADA.
Chris Bosh 2009-20010 NBA Finals MVP!!!
So the Wizards and Raptors are going to the finals, with the Wizards winning it all and Bosh being named Finals MVP. Should be a good season.
The funny thing about this joke is it points out how meaningless the Suns' "best record in the conference" at the time of the Shaq trade was. Easy ass schedule that allowed them to win games with a gaping hole in the middle. By no means did the Shaq trade work, but it made sense in plenty of ways.
