Is the number 12 retired by the Heat or Lakers? Do buyout players have enough clout to ask them to be unretired for their own ego?

Pop and the FO are nothing more than fools gold. Over the decades the scouting has been tremendous but the real culprits for our championships are no other than the big3 and only the big3. Let's be real, Pop didn't have much to do with all those championships. Pop can coach, no doubt about that, but having the big3 was the difference maker what made people believe Pop was the mad scientist behind the team and its success.

We keep allowing players to dictate if they will stay or if they will play and in the end we let them walk for nothing or chump change. Our Coach and FO are as soft as it gets and their collective IQ is dwindling away rapidly.

All you Spurs insiders - tell us who's calling the shots on player deals. Is it really Wright? A virtual shadow figure that not even some (most?) of us Spurs would recognize. I gotta believe Gregg is still the executive on who stays and goes.

Not an insider but it's gotta be Buford/Pop still calling the shots. Brian Wright is a glorfied scout/number cruncher. They had an article last summer where Buford barely let Wright talk to the reporter. It was pretty embarrassing for Brian, had the vibe of a parent holding their child's hand.

LMA will give up $100, enough for the Spurs janitor to pack up his belongings from the locker room and deliver them to his house.

But we have several deals in place

But we have several teams interested

But we want to do right by Lamarcus

This dude played like , got demoted, quit, went home, now telling the spurs to pay him all his money so he can go play for whatever team he wants

Wherever he goes I hope they ring

Are you telling me hiring the best and brightest from the Pistons front office was a bad move:

I would bet money that Brian Wright was friends with someone in Buford's family before he got the job.

Look at the bright side. Keeping the vets and losing LMA for nothing will most likely result in a complete collapse for the team and a better draft pick.

But Mr. Body told me the Spurs were getting buyers' attention

The complete and utter incapacity of PATFO when it comes to trades is really outstanding. I have never seen anything quite like it.

This FO needs to buy out itself.
if some "experts" on the forum agree with everything the front office does, imagine the random fan, they have no reason to change.
